Star Crossed Lovers

He smelled sooo good. I had never smelled blood so mouth watering, so sweet, so just so, delicious. Never had i encountered a human that appealed to me so much. One that brought out the inner beast, i tried so hard to hide. No matter how hard my family tried i wouldn't turn into the beast with no sympathy for humans. When he spoke to me i nearly lost control. I didn't care that we were in public and a classroom full of humans, i had never had such an intense feeling of blood lust run through my veins. I fought the urge to jump over the desk, pin him down to the floor, sink my fangs into his neck and suck him dry.

I stopped fighting however when i looked up into his beautiful hazel eyes. There was no need to fight cause no longer did i want to hurt him. I still wanted him but no longer in the manner of my next meal but in the prospect of a...mate? Just great something else to make me different, yeah i was finally craving a human but not in the way all other vampires did.

As i was thinking i realize he is still standing and ask if he is okay, as i do he quickly sits down snapping out of his thoughts. I feel him glancing at me throughout the entire class like he is scared or something which is odd cause humans are usually very attracted to us. As the bell rings he jumps out of his seat and bolts out of the classroom. I quickly gather my things and race out the door expecting to catch up to the boy quickly. I stand in the hall looking up and down it expecting to see him not far off. He was no where in sight strange seeing as humans were very slow even when they ran.

I walk into my next class this time smelling blood almost as tantalizing as the mystery boy. I trace the smell back to two boys one with brown curly hair and full lips and the other with short black hair, tons of eyeliner, and some tattoos. I somehow sense i will not have the same connection with these two as i did with the boy. I walk by them and see them start to fidget and move in their seats as if they had an itch they couldn't scratch. I seat myself at the back of the classroom trying to avoid them at all costs so as not to rip their throats out.

When the bell rings i sprint for the classroom door to avoid the two boys i keep it up until i reach my next class. I sit at the back of the class and begin to sketch. I start to hear all the other students file in along with their even heartbeats. One in particular though starts to speed up as if nervous i look up to see the owner of the speeding heart. It being none other than the mystery boy from my first class. He quickly comes to sit down beside me in what i assume must be his usual desk. I give a small smile and look away. I hear his heart slowly return to normal as the art teacher calls roll.

"Frank Iero?" He quickly raises his hand.

Frank. Simple but fitting. I loved it, the way it sounded in my head. I was now happy to be able to call my mystery boy by a name. Even with my craving for his blood i knew i could never hurt him in anyway no matter what. Perfect because i couldn't wait to get to know Frank.
