~Gerard's P.O.V.~

"hello there, didn't know you were rocking the upper mitten," Bob said with a wink,
"oh my gosh, BOB!!!!" I screamed and gripped him into the worlds tightest hug. he did the same,
"what the hell are you doing here? thought you still lived in the states!" he exclaimed,
"yeah, we moved here a year ago when I got a job offer,"
I saw Bob's gaze go behind me at the moment I fell Frank's arms wrap around my waist from behind, he rested his head on my shoulder.
"who's this?" Bob asked with a sly smirk, will he ever learn?
Frank smiled and answered for me,
"hey, I'm Frank, Gerard's boyfriend,"
Bob's lips turned up into the worlds biggest smile, he looked at me and my face turned cherry red. Bob and I were friends in elementary through junior high. he moved to Canada in eighth grade, leaving me behind to fend for myself. we were just so close, y'know? I told all of my secrets to him, he was the first person to know I was gay.

that was the best day ever, I remember it like it was yesterday...

~flashback~

Bob and I were walking down the street. he had once again saved me from my father's wrath. we stopped at an old park, we always thought of it as our little sanctuary. mainly because it had been abandoned for decades. he and I sat down on the rusted bench.

"Gee, tell me what's going on, something's up with you," Bob said, I sighed and relaxed into his side. the cool autumn air surrounding us as the breeze plucked the remaining gold leaves off of the trees.

"Bob, I-I think... I think I'm gay..." I finally choked out. he pulled me into a hug,
"you know I will always accept you for who you are, don't ever think differently,"
I hugged him even tighter as tear ran down my cheeks,
"thank you, Bob, you have no idea what that means to me..."

He planted a kiss on my forehead before pulling away.
