I was sitting in my car wait for them to wheel little frank to me. I've always had a good life, family, friends, and money. I have my own house and car for gods sake. But after hearing poor Franks life story I couldn't help the feeling like it was my fault, like I put him there, like I caused all the pain that was inflicted on him. Which is quite frankly stupid I just met the kid and now I want to keep him safe and cared for. I want Frank to feel the love I grew up with and know that he is not alone as long as I am here nothing will ever hurt him. I promise.

Knock Knock

The nursed that knocked on my window was letting me know he just brought Frank out. So I hoped out of the car to help get him in the passengers seat, buckled him in and shut the door. Once I got in we hit the road.

Frank was quietly looking out the window. I tried to break the tension by talking first.

"So how do you feel today." He turned from the window to answer back

"Truth?" I nodded " Im nervous as hell"

I frowned " What are you nervous about little one?"

"Well I have no idea were you live, I barley know you, I don't know your family, and where we are going but, Im betting there are a lot of vampires."

"Oh well I don't live too far from the school, we'll get to know each other, you'll meet my family soon, and yes I live in vampire community."

"Why are you doing this? Why are you taking care of me Gerard? You don't even know me really. Just because you saved me you don't have to do this."

" I know I don't have to take care of you frank. I want to take of you. Plus we have to look after our own it like were apart of a huge gang and humans are rivals."

Frank went quite again looking out the window. I started to wonder if I worded that wrong. we were almost at my house about 5 minuets or so.

"Gerard"

"Yeah"

"What if I don't make a good vampire"

"Why would you say that"

"What if the fact that I grew up with humans tainted me. Plus this whole Im rare thing makes me unwanted... I mean I don't even eat meat!"

"So that's what your nervous about?" I just smirked

"Gerard it's not funny! There going to eat me alive"

No one will want to eat him alive... They will all want to make him there own. I can't believe that he doesnt realize how desirable he is in our world. How him being diffrent is actually beautiful.

"Frank your going to be okay... Trust me. We don't all eat meat we may drink blood but only Doms eat meat, fertiles usually are veg heads and are all healthy. plus no one is ever going to hurt you, I promise."

"Okay"

"Well little Frank, welcome home"
