Make It Good
When we had fully descended from the stairs we made our way to my room and Party tossed me onto the bed, I thought he was gonna pounce on me but he just stood there near the bed biting his lips. I wanted him to join me and make out or something but I understood why, he didn't, the last time I kneed him where it hurt. But I did kinda feel bad he didn't join me.
"I want to, you know." He said practically reading my mind.
"I hope so," Then I let out a small laugh, "But thanks for not, like, I mean, I want you to join me and like make out and shit, but, I don't think.... you know..." I trailed off.
"Yeah, plus I don't wanna put my balls through any more violence." He laughed at his own joke and I couldn't help but smile at it.
"So whats on the schedule for today." I said getting back to the real reason why I was here. To learn.
"Well Dr.D wanted us to wait before taking you out on the field. You know with the Drac's and fighting."
"Not to bust your bubble but were always on the field unless were in Safe Haven." I pointed out.
"I know, he wants us to move out in one of the further zone's where there are less Drac's, and start with basic training for at least 6 months before engaging you in group with us and some Drac's."
"Really?" I said a little disappointed with 6 more months of waiting before I could get in a real fight.
"Yup, but we told him we are gonna do it our way, since your are's not his anymore." He said with a smirk.
"Cool!" I said with a bit more excitement.
"But he did have a point," My face fell a bit, "Tonight were gonna rob a store, then tomorrow were gonna head to district 14 for a few weeks of basic training."
"I'm good with that, so why are we robbing a store?"
"Were running low on food. And I need to redye my hair." He said picking up his hair.
"Wait, were going into Battery City, to rob a store?"
"What? No that's crazy, I heard your good but no offense your way to inexperienced for Battery City."
"The how are we gonna rob a store without going into the city?" I am really confused.
"Have you ever been out of Safe Haven?"
"No, before tomorrow I never stepped a foot outside." Party's face was full of shock.
"Wow. Well zone 1 is like the outer Battery City, kinda where all the thugs go and live. There used to robbery's so well be fine, we might run into some Drac's but I wont leave your side."
"Aww how sweet." I laughed.
"I better be to my girl." Then he came over to the bed and gently kissed me.
Well it started out soft and sweet until I pulled him on the bed and straddled his hips with mine, and roughly kissed him. At first I could tell he was a bit hesitant, but I pushed my lips harder against him and finally he started kissing me back. He ran his hand through my hair and got into the kiss. Just when met the amount of effort I was putting into the kiss, I pulled back and pushed him down.
"Your girl? I dont remember that ever being established." I said putting my hand to my chin making it look like I was thinking hard. Which made him roll his head back in laughter.
"Blue Moon would you-" He stopped when I pushed my fingers to his lips.
"What do you think your doing?"
"Uh, asking you out?" He said really confused.
"No your not."
"Uh why?"
"I want to be surprised. You only get to do it once so make it good." And with that I left Party on my bed looking confused as shit and walked out and up into the diner with the guys.
