Bert's POV

Did she just kiss that guy? Am I seeing things? Oh my God, no...

"Bert, this is my boyfriend, Mikey." Autumn smiled, taking the tall boy's hand. And suddenly I feel like an anvil has been dropped on my heart. Boyfriend?! What the actual fuck?! Since when was I replaced by this pansy?

I swallow down all the anger and hurt and put on the biggest smile ever. Take that, Mikey! Can't make me jealous! Well, yeah, I was actually extremely jealous and angry in that moment. I stuck out my hand and shook his, both of us smiling.

"Autumn talks about you. A lot. From what we heard, you're pretty damn awesome." Mikey said, releasing my hand leading me to the kitchen with Autumn right beside us. I feel myself blush. She talks about me! So maybe hope isn't all lost. I turned to her.

"Really?" I asked, my smile becoming more genuine as I turned to Autumn. She smirked.

"Yeah, but only the good stuff. As if there's anything bad about you." Her voice trailed off.

"Mikey? Are they here yet?" A voice yelled, approaching the kitchen.

"Yeah! Autumn's friend Bert's here too!" Mikey yelled back as another guy stepped into the room. He had messy, raven black hair and bright hazel eyes.

"Bert, this is my brother Gerard, but you can call him Gee." Mikey said, gesturing to the other guy. He stuck out his hand for me to shake, which I did. At least this dude seems ok...

There was a knock on the door.

Autumn's POV

"I'll get it!" I yelled, running back to the entrance room and opening the door. There stood Andy and a girl I've never seen before. She had long, choppy blonde hair that was shaved on one side and long bangs that hung in her face.

"Autumn, this is Juliet, my girlfriend. Juliet, this is Autumn, one of my best friends." Andy said with a huge, goofy smile smile on his face. Juliet stood next to him, smiling to herself and blushing. She stuck her hand out to me.

"Nice to meet you." She said politely. I giggled.

"Ya don't have to be so polite! We're one big family." I said, ushering the cute couple through the door. Behind them stood a very bored, irritated Frank.

"They kept getting all mushy in the car." He grumbled, pushing past me. I smiled.

This is going to be awesome. My best friend is here. My boyfriend is here. Everyone is just so... Happy.
