All The Wounds That Are Ever Gonna Scar Me

It Was a Lie When They Smiled and Said,"You Won't Feel a Thing."

Mikey's POV

I woke up all alone in the hospital bed, my mind filled with happy thoughts of last night. My first girlfriend. My first love. My first kiss. We fell asleep in eachother's arms, which was really awkward for me cuz I was wearing a hospital gown. Ya know, the one that's open in the back. But at least I had boxers on...

The day dragged by. Nurses came in every hour or so to make sure I took my medications, which included an anti-depressant. Finally, around four-thirty, Autumn and Gerard walked in, carrying bags from McDonald's. Finally, some real food.

They both ran to me and wrapped their arms around me, giggling excitedly.

"What are you two so happy about?" I asked suspiciously.

"Your girlfriend did some pretty funny stuff today..." Gee said between giggles.

"Yeah, like what?" I asked, turning to face Autumn.

"I told my home room teacher that I was born because my parents had drunk sex on the first date without any protection." She smiled proudly. Damn, she's so adorable.

I giggled and leaned up, kissing her on the nose. This just made her giggle more, as she sat herself in a chair next to the bed.

"We gotcha some real food." Gerard said, handing me the McDonald's bag. Inside was a double-bacon cheeseburger. Autumn handed me a bottle of Pepsi and pulled a small bag out of her backpack.

"We stopped by your house to grab some stuff for you, even though the doc said you could go home later tonight. You have a pretty cool room, by the way." She said, handing me the bag.

"Thanks." I muttered, pulling out an issue of Alternative Press that featured Paramore on the cover. I love Paramore, they're probably one of my favorite bands.

I looked up, noticing Autumn's shirt, which had a Paramore logo on it. I handed her the magazine, thinking she would probably want to read it.

She took one look at the cover and looked up at me, smiling.

"They're my favorite band of all time!" She gushed, opening up to the first page. I smiled, taking a bite of my burger. The doctor suddenly walked in, looking at Autumn the moment he stepped through the door, his eyes crawling all over her chest. My blood began to boil. How dare he look at her that way! Seriously, girls deserve so much more respect than that. Especially Autumn.

"Excuse me, my eyes are up here." She said, giving him a death-glare. I sighed in relief, happy that she could handle herself. The doctor, however, looked extremely embarrassed and apologized immediately.

"Sorry. Micheal, I just wanted to tell you that you should get dressed, you're about to get discharged. Make sure you keep taking your anti-depressants." He said in a rush, sneaking a glance at Autumn's chest one last time before leaving.

"Jeez, what a creep." Autumn muttered, shuddering.

"Yeah, sorry bout that." I said, finishing my burger and getting up. Gerard looked me up and down and burst into laughter.

"Nice dress!" He squealed between fits if giggles. Even Autumn chuckled a little, looking down at her feet. I rolled my eyes and went to the bathroom, changing back into my Anthrax tshirt, black skinny jeans, and black converse.

Wnen I came out, Autumn and Gee were standing by the door waiting for me. I walked toward them, grabbing Autumn's hand as we walked out the door, down the hall, and into the elevator. When we got out, we ran toward the front doors of the hospital and shoved them open. We raced eachother to the car and got in, Gee and I in the front and Autumn in the back. It was an awkward drive home, nobody said a word.

As it turns out, we really weren't going home. Gerard drove to the comic book store where Ray worked. We got out of the car and ran in excitedly.

"You read comics?" I asked Autumn, trying to start a conversation as I grabbed her hand.

"Yeah. I like Hellboy and Terminator. How bout you?"

"Batman, Spider-Man, ya know, the classics." I said, leading her to back of the store where the Terminator series was kept. She grabbed the most recent issue off the shelf, along with a few issues of Catwoman. A beautiful girl that likes comics and punk music? Yep, she's definitely a keeper.

Notes

I suck at endings :/
