Gerard’s POV

“Well that went nicely” I whispered to myself as I lost sight of them going up the stairs.

My intention all this time was to embarrass my little brother, cause hey that’s what older brothers do, right?
But I think I ended embarrassing myself more.
I don’t know why it matters, but it does. Why do I care about what Nicole thinks of me? Or will think of me? I mean I just met her. But still, there’s something about her. Something that attracts me, something I just can’t seem to figure out. But it’s some hell of ‘something’.
Still she probably thinks I’m a complete idiot after what just happened. Poor Mikey, I’d embarrassed him. And Me.

I grabbed my car keys and headed outside.

I had an idea to fix all of this. To start over again and spend sometime together all three of us.

I walked into the Blockbuster and went directly to the ‘new’ section. I took a look at all the options, which made it really quit hard to decide.
I ended up picking up two. A comedy and a horror one. A little bit of everything, it’d be up to them to decide what we’d watch.

I paid for the movies and headed back home.

Mikey’s POV

After we both walked into my room and I closed the door behind us I apologized, as she took a seat on my king size bed.

“Um, sorry for that….for that awkward situation” I laughed a bit as I said this.

“No, it’s okay. I understand it. Bothers are like that” she said laughing a bit at first and then just staring at the wall with a sad expression.

“Are you ok?” I asked as I took a sit next to her on my bed.

“Yeah, it’s just that….I remembered something about my brother”

“Oh, you have a brother?”

“Umm, yeah. Well I had” she said still with that sad look on her face and not meeting my eyes, she kept her sight straight on the black wallpapered wall of my room.

She had.
Oh, no what had I done?
I’ve made her think about it. Still, how was I supposed to know?

“I’m sorry” I said while laying my hand on hers and squeezing it softly. When I did this, she stopped staring at the wall and looked at me.

“I guess we both know what it’s like to loose someone we love” she said squeezing my hand softly too.

I nodded and just held her hand as we both stayed quiet for the next five minutes.

After just minutes of silence I decided it be best if we did something, to change the subject. And get that sad feeling off of our minds.

“So wanna go to the park?”
I stood up, not letting go of her hand and pulling her up with me.

“Ok” she answered now smiling.

We walked downstairs and headed out to the park, that wasn’t to far away.
As we walked pass the driveway I saw Gee’s car wasn’t there.
Umm, I wonder were he went?

~A few hours later~

Gerard’s POV

When I got home from Blockbuster with the movies they weren’t home.

I wonder where they went?
Had I been that embarrassing, for Mikey to have to go somewhere else to hang out with Nicole.
Umm, Nicole. Just thinking about her makes me feel….weird. I don’t know how to explain this feeling. But it’s a good one, I’m sure.

I decided to order some pizza with time, so it wouldn’t be that late when it got here. Pizza and movies. Yeah this what going to be great. Anything to spend some more time with Nicole. And get to know her more. God, know her more. Who knows how she is on the inside. But on the outside she’s really gorgeous, not only on the looks but on her way of being: nice, smiles a lot, quiet, or is it shy?
I’d have to find out.
