Gerard's POV.

When I finally opened my eyes the next day, there was a note resting on the pillow beside my head.

'Gone to college, didn't want to wake you up. Love you, Frankie xx'

I smiled and pressed a kiss to the note before pushing myself out of bed. I couldn't remember the last time I'd felt so happy. Jamie had been gone forever, well.. It had felt like it. But he was back now and that was all that mattered.

Well, apart from the fact I couldn't see him in my own house.

That was what I had to do whilst Frank wasn't here. I had to talk to Sarah.

It didn't take long for me to have a shower, get dressed and climb into my car. I was in too much of a rush to bother with breakfast, Jamie was much more important than some bloody food.

“Sarah?” I called gently whilst knocking at the door, taking a small step back after a moment like I always did.

I wasn't sure why people did that. Knock the door then step back. It was just an everyday thing, wasn't it?

“Hey Gee.” Sarah smiled a little as she opened the door before taking a small step back to let me inside.

“How's Jaybear?” I asked once inside, my hand lightly rubbing the back of my neck. I was nervous for some odd reason. I'd never seen her so angry before.

“He's fine now, sleeping. He had his breakfast and went straight back to sleep, poor little guy, he's exhausted.” She sighed, resting her head against my chest.

“At least he's home.” I whispered, frowning a little whilst sliding my arms around her.

I liked the relationship me and Sarah had. Best friends with a baby, it was perfect.

“Yeah. I'm sorry about yesterday, it's just.. I was so stressed out and I was emotional from seeing Jamie again and I just-”

“Shh.” I whispered, giving her a gentle hug. “It's okay. I understand.. Though I did wanna talk about that. Frank really can't be blamed for this.. Please, Sarah..”

She sighed a little and sat herself down onto the sofa, pulling me down next to her where she rested her head against my chest again. “I'll think about it Gee.” She whispered after a moment.

I thought about it for a moment and smiled a little before kissing the top of her head. “Thank you.”

I knew what she meant when she said she'd think about it. She'd sulk and not give in for a couple days, then she'd get bored and give in.

“Love you Gee.” She whispered with a small smile, cuddling in a little more.

“I know, I love you too.” I murmured with a small smile, giving her a gentle squeeze. It was so nice to just be.. Relaxed.

“No, Gee.” Sarah whispered, letting her gaze flicker up to me. “I really do love you.” She whispered, biting down onto her bottom lip gently.

“As in..?” I began, though a second later I felt a gentle kiss being pressed to my lips.

It was different.. Definitely softer than kissing Frank, which was weird.

“Sarah..” I whispered, frowning gently as I looked down at her. “You know I..”

“I know Gee. I know.” She smiled faintly and cuddled into me. “I'm sorry I just.. I wanted you to know.” She whispered whilst taking my hand and squeezing it gently.

“I..” I began, my eyes on our hands. I didn't know what to say. How was I supposed to respond? How did anyone respond to that?!

She knew I was gay, and with Frank.. Yet she..? I didn't understand. It was just all so confusing!

“I'm sorry.” She whispered again before sitting up a little. “Look, lets just forget about this okay? I just kinda blurted it out, it doesn't matter..” She shrugged, swallowing harshly.

It did matter, of course it did.. But if I said that, it'd ruin our friendship and I couldn't risk that. I couldn't ruin things between me and the mother of my baby boy.

“Alright..” I smiled a little and pulled her into a gentle hug. What else was there for me to do?

“I'll make some coffee.” Sarah murmured gently before disappearing into the kitchen.

So much for a relaxed day.

“You'll never guess what happened today.” I murmured with a gentle laugh whilst sitting myself down on the sofa.

Me and Sarah had been fine for the rest of the day, and we'd spent some time together with Jamie once he'd woken up. It'd been nice.

Though now I was at home, laying across the sofa, waiting for Frankie to get home.

“What?” He asked, dropping his bag down onto the floor before moving to straddle my waist with a small smile.

“Sarah like.. Admitted that she loves me. Like.. Love loves me.” I murmured, shaking my head a little.

We'd sorted it out, it wasn't a big deal to me. We were still best friend, though obviously it wasn't like that for Frank.

“What?” He breathed, frowning a little. “She.. What?” He whimpered, climbing off my waist to stand up.

“Frankie c'mon, you know it's not a big deal. I'm in love with you for gods sake.. I'm gay!” I laughed quietly, trying to ease the tension between us though it wasn't working.

“But..” He began before taking a deep breath and disappearing up the stairs.

Great.

Frank's POV.

Sarah loved Gerard.

It made perfect sense.. How could I not have seen it before? She already hated me.. Now all she had to do was get Gerard for herself, they'd make the best fucking couple ever.

A perfect fucking family.

I locked the bathroom door and leant back, soon enough sliding down it until I was sat on the floor, my head in my hands.

I was over reacting, I knew, but after the week I'd had, I was allowed to worry.

The mother of Gerard's baby was in love with him.

She could be a complete bitch at times, yesterday was proof enough and now.. She could take him away.

Oh, god. She was going to steal Gerard.
