Gerard walked up with me to my room while carrying the last box, full of stuff from Florida. I opened the door and walked in. Gerard set his box down and so did I. "Thanks for bringing that up here. Do you want me to drive you home, are you going to wait for my parents to get back and take you home, or are you going to call your parents?" I asked.

"Why, do you want to get rid of me already?" He smirked, it was a sexy smirk.

"No! I just wanted to know what you wanted to do." My cheeks were slowly getting red from embarrassment.

"Ha ha. It's okay Katie. I think I'll stay over for a little while." I smiled and then hugged him.

"Thanks for helping me with the boxes. It would have sucked if I had to bring all of them up on my own." I pulled back a little, but he was still holding me. I looked up at him. Gerard's eyes were shining, they had a sparkle and lust in them. He looked down at my lips. I smiled and mouthed 'yes.' He brought his head down and kissed me. It was soft, and passionate.

Gerard picked me up and I wrapped my legs around him. Our kiss became more rough. He put me up against the door and I set my feet back down. He broke the kiss and moved to my neck. He began to suck and bite on my neck. A small moan escaped my lips and I could feel Gerard smile against my skin. I returned the favor and I could feel his member become hard.

He picked me up again and set me on the bed. He was on top of me and was kissing me again. His tongue pressed against my lips, begging for entrance, and I opened my mouth. His tongue explored my mouth. I pushed into his mouth, but he pushed back into mine. I gave up and just let him continue. It felt wonderful.

He pulled back, yet again. He kissed my lips, my jawline, my neck, and went to my collarbone. There, he began sucking and biting again. His hands roved all over my body, lingering in some places longer than others. Another moan had come from my lips, louder than the first. Gerard seemed pleased with what he was doing.

I managed to wrap my legs around him and flipped him onto his back. I pulled off his shirt and tossed it onto the floor. I kissed all over his face, down his neck, his whole chest and worked my way down. His member became harder. I kissed right to were his pants began. I undid his belt and took it off. I kissed him again and made my way back up. Gerard groaned in frustration. I smirked at him and took off my shirt. He flipped me back onto my back and took off my shorts and his pants. He put his hands on my body again.

"Are you sure about this?" He asked.

"Y-yes. I want you. I've wanted you for so long." He kissed my lips again. We took off what was left of our clothing.

"I've wanted you too Katie. I always have. I-" BOOM!!

I woke up to loud thunder. I looked around and found myself in my room. I looked out my window and saw that it was pouring. Lightning flashed in the sky. Gerard must have brought me up here.

I got out of my bed and walked out of my room. I saw a flash of lightning and thunder followed immediately after, causing the power to go out. I could hear voices, and they were coming from downstairs.

"-got dinner done before the power went out." My mom. "Gerard, sweetheart, could you wake Kate up and bring her down for dinner? And thank you so much for brining her home."

"Of course aunt Sophie. And it wasn't a problem at all." I heard Gerard come out of the kitchen and make his way to the stairs. I walked to the stairs and Gerard was walking up. "Oh, you're up. You're mom just sent me to come tell you dinner was done." Gerard said.

"I heard. Thanks for bringing me home and into my room. It must have been fun carrying me up the stairs." I chuckled.

"It was fine. And I liked bringing you up to your room more than bringing every single box in here. They were pretty heavy."

"You brought them in? You should have woke me up, I could have helped you." I can't believe he brought in the boxes. I didn't even see them.

"I wanted to let you sleep. It was fine Katie, really." I gave Gerard a hug and quick kiss on the cheek.

"Thanks Gee. Now, let's go eat. I'm pretty hungry." I walked down the stairs. Why did I kiss him on the cheek? Everyone does it when family helps them with something, duh. Yeah, but there's usually an age difference that isn't a year. I shook my head at myself. Oh well, I'm an affectionate person most of the time. Maybe that's it.

~Time Lapse~

"Well Gerard, there's no way you can get home. Trees have been knocked down and this storm is pretty bad." My dad said after dinner.

"Ok uncle John. Where am I going to sleep though?" Gerard asked. There weren't many options.

"You can sleep in Kate's room. The guest room is full of boxes and the pullout's broken. There's an air mattress you can use that will fit in her room." My dad looked pleased with himself. I however, wasn't quite so sure. I didn't even know my room was an option.

"Well, only if it's fine with Kate." Gerard said. I looked at him. My parents looked at me.

"Yeah, it's fine." I said, not really sure of why I cared. Oh wait, it could be what's happened over the past several hours.

"Alright, I'll go set up the bed." My dad left the kitchen and my mom cleared the table.
I went into the living room and almost turned on the tv, but remembered that the power was out. It's a good thing dad has to pump up the air mattress instead of plug it into the wall and inflate it that way.

I sat on a couch and wondered when the power would come back on. I then let my thoughts wander. I felt someone sit down next to me and looked at the person. It was Gerard. We looked at each other for a few minutes. I couldn't stand his stare and looked away.

"Kate, can I ask you something?" I looked back to Gerard.

"Well, you already did, but you can ask me something else this time." He smiled at me.

"Why do you get emotionally close with me and talk to me about everything, but then distance yourself from me?" Because I have feelings for you. Because I need time to let those feelings die down. But you can never know that.

"I didn't know I did that. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings by doing that Gee." I really need to go or something, I can't be around him after that dream I had. And because I kissed him on the cheek, it felt kind of wrong.

"What are you thinking about?" The hell? Does he know I'm thinking about him? Why does he have to ask me now? Ugh.

"How full my bladder is." I sort of lied. I had to pee, but I could have held it. I got up and walked to the bathroom. Once I was in there, I let out a sigh of relief, and not just because I had to pee. It's really dark in here though. I hated small dark places so I had to come out. I washed my hands and went up to my room.

Dad was gone and the air mattress was pumped up. I flopped onto my bed and started thinking. Lightning struck really close again and the thunder was loud. It scared me a lot. Once when I was little, I almost got struck by lightning. So, thunder storms always scare me. I tried to focus on the sound of the rain hitting the roof and the windows. It was comforting. Eventually, I dozed off back into sleep.

BOOM!! I woke up again to the sound if really loud thunder. The storm was fierce outside. The limbs of the trees were brushing against the house. I looked out my window and lightning struck right next to the house. It was so loud my ears were ringing and the house had shook. I wrapped my arms around myself, closed my eyes, and started shaking. I was scared, so very scared.

Suddenly, I felt someone's arms wrap around me. I opened my eyes and saw that it was Gerard. I unwrapped my arms from myself and wrapped them around Gerard. He held me and started rubbing my back. This calmed me down a bit. Then, he started humming the tune from earlier. He kept humming until I stopped shaking. We laid down, still wrapped in each other's arms. I started to feel safe and sleepy. Gerard kissed the top of my head and said goodnight.
