"W-What?" I choked out. This was just my luck, my best friend getting killed. Tears formed in my eyes as I slowly took the dog tag from their hands

"We're very sorry for your loss, Gerard wanted me to tell you that he loves you." I looked up in confusion, did I know him? I recognized Jake, an old friend. I smiled sadly, nodding my head slightly.

"Tell him that I love him too, with all of my heart." I mumbled, the tears falling from my eyes down my cheeks. Jake nodded, smiling sympathetically, and left my house. I closed the door, walking into the living room to sit. I stared at the dog tag sadly, reading the name 'MIKEY WAY' repeatedly, not exactly believing what had happened.

"Mommy what's the matter?" Bandit asked. I looked up at her sadly.

"Your Uncle Mikey passed away sweetie..." I murmured. She looked confused, "that means that he died..."

"No!" She screamed, starting to cry too. I sighed, nodding slightly. "What if daddy dies too momma?! I don't want him to do that!" she yelled.

"I don't either baby, trust me." I sighed. I really didn't. She ran to her room and I heard her crying really hard, and that's what made me loose it. I sat on the couch, dug my face in my hands, and sobbed.
