Would I Die For You? *UNDER CONSTRUCTION*

By the time we had opened the school’s back door, Mikey was already out of sight but we saw the bathroom door swinging shut. “Come one guys” I direct, walking quickly to the bathroom door that I assumed my brother was behind. Upon reaching the door I press my ear against the hard surface and hear nothing. He had to be in there though. Mikey wasn’t that fast and we all saw him enter the school this way.
I carefully the door open, motioning to the other’s to follow me in. “Mikes?” I call “Mikey you in here?” No answer. “Check the stalls?” Pete asks behind me. I nod. There are four stalls in the bathroom so we each take one, slowly opening the plastic doors to see which one Mikey is hidden in.
Frank finds him. He motions us over with a wave of his hand. Mikey sits on the floor, facing the disgusting toilet, his head bowed, new glasses on the floor beside him, one hand clutching the toilet bowl so hard his knuckles were turning white, the other hand resting in his lap. His breaths are coming out in short shaking gasps.

“I-I forgot my lunch” “Again?” Mikey looks down at the grass. “Mikes that’s the third time this week” I tell him “And that one other day you didn’t even show up” Ray adds. I sigh and grab my sandwich from my bag and hold it out to my brother. “Here” I offer. Mikey shakes his head. “Not hungry” he mumbles. ”Come on Mikey, you didn’t have breakfast this morning or dinner last night. How are you not hungry?” Mikey shrugs and I groan in defeat.
“Mikey” Mikey looks over at Ray “When did you last eat?” Mikey shrugs again “I don’t know” he mumbles “Like last week” Ray and I gasp at Mikey’s confession. He isn’t eating. “When last week and what was it?” Ray asks “Like Tuesday or something, and a banana” Mikey answers, lowering his head once again “You guys are overreacting. I’m fine you two, seriously” “Dude this is serious” Ray states “Yeah, why aren’t you eating?” I ask. “It’s the only way I’ve been able to lose weight” Mikey whispers Because I’m FAT Gerard” Mikey exclaims finally looking up to reveal the tears sliding down his cheeks. “So disgustingly fat”

“Hey, you okay?” I whisper, kneeling down next to Mikey. He shakes his head, no. “I don’t want them here” he whispers. I look back at our group of friends still clustered around the stall opening. “Um guys…” “Yeah, yeah, we’re going” Ray mumbles leading the others out.
Pete stays behind for a moment, opening his mouth to say something, and then thinking better of it and following Ray and Frank.
When I hear the door close, I pull Mikey into a hug, laying his head on my chest. He lets out a choked sob. I wipe some of the tears off his cheeks with the pad of my thumb. “Mikey?” I whisper “Yeah?” “There is nothing wrong with your weight, you know that right?” It’s a long time before he answers my question with a quick nod.
We sit on the bathroom floor, him shaking letting the tears fall, me rocking us back and forth, until the bell rings, alerting us of the end of lunch. I start to pull the two of us up to a stand. “Come on, we gotta go to class” I tell him. Mikey groans and I let out a small smile, until I remember how we found him kneeling in front of the toilet.
“Mikes, you didn’t uh…” I partially ask, looking over his shoulder to look into the toilet bowl. Mikey shakes his head before bending down to pick up his glasses. “Were you going to?” “I… I don’t know” His eyes are full of fear. I frown slightly and pull Mikey in for another hug” “I love you bro” I whisper into his ear “I always will no matter what”
“O-okay”

Sorry this is late I got lazy and then sleep over at Tiffany's. Won't have Vampires up until tomorrow and hopefully the kidnapping fic will be up on time. Wow I suck at this schedule shit.

The part in italics is a flashback which Frank is not in because he was still in middle school at the time and therefore could not have lunch with Mikey Gerard and Ray.
