Words Mean Nothing.
Chapter Twenty-One.
The cold is what Gerard noticed first. Everything went cold, ice cold. Like an Ice burg had just sprouted within the core of his body. Numb was the second thing Gerard felt. Nothing at all. It was a nice feeling, one he had hoped for when he got this far. He lay on the ground blood gushing out of his wrists in front of him onto the floor into a puddle of nothing-ness. To ensure that he did his job right the boy had cut ‘up the river’ as apposed to ‘across the river’.
His eyes swirled around the room and everything began to get fuzzy. Gerard took one final shaking breath and passed out, dead.
