So happy to hear you like my story! ...and I don't watn to be the barer of bad news to you but you may have missed seeing the story's status, it is completed. Cool thought, but Gerard cuffed both hands. Maybe you breezed over it: "My left arm was quickly cuffed up the same way on the other side."

And I've been thinking, as Frank is handcuffed (assuming) with one hand to the chair, couldn't he get a good grasp on the chair with both hands, pick it up, and quietly tiptoe over to the sleeping Gerard, only to smash the chair over Gerard's head, hopefully doing some major damage to his head and hopefully knocking him out so Frank can call the police? This is assuming he isn't handcuffed with both hands to the chair and the chair isn't a heavy one at that, and that Gerard isn't a light sleeper.
Idk, something I thought of.
