That actually sounds like a really nice funeral. I was going to go to my friend's grandmother's wake but I fell down the stairs, almost broke my shoulder, scratched up my elbow, and broke my computer so I wasn't in the most sympatheitic mood. But my mom went and gave them my sympathies for me

Well for starters, it was the first military funeral I've ever been to. He was a Navy vet so they had the flag over his casket and two Navy men (one from our family) at the ceremony. That was cool. He was also a good man of God so it was actually pretty peaceful because God's presence was there. There wasn't despair. There was hope and strength in that place. It wasn't a lamentation of his death, but a celebration of his life, and that made it pretty amazing to me.

Yeah another chapter and I'm sorry you had a funeral to go to. My friends grandmother just died to. :'(
