That's actually quite deeper than I thought, maybe try to persuade them or offer them something, idek. I persuaded my parents to let me take Performing Arts.

awh you guys are so sweet and supportive ♡ but the problem is deeper than you think it is, because my art teacher showed my works to some publishers and they actually came to school to talk to me, and they offered me a job and said that some other magazine was interested in my designs and they could make an exception and hire me even tho im 14 but my parents said no. Apparently thats not what they are paying the school for. They didnt even let me publish a kids book which was already finished by that point
so yeah
I think you should go or it, don't give a damn about what your parents say, FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS!!!!!!

you should go for it, it sucks to not have any support from your parents but it's your life and you should make the best of it. For me it's kind of the other way around, I really want to be a psychologist but both my parents are artists so they're like "are you sure? I mean, maybe that's not creative enough for you."
I do think that Diego is interested in Gerard, and I think it would be a cool plot twist if Gerard ended up with Diego and Frankie basically fighting over him.
Just an idea.
Also, illustrations would be great if you wanted to do them.
Either way this is a great book and I'm already excited for the next update!!!
