If they are true friends, they will be politely honest about your singing. By that I mean, friends should absolutely support each other, their talents, dreams, etc. Voices need to be one of a kind! Do u know Les Claypool's dad says he can play the hell outta a bass but can't sing for shit. That's what his own dad says NOW, after Primus has sold how many albums? We need ppl like Les, Bon Scott, Brian Johnson, Shakira, Frankie, so many that don't sound like anyone else. But if you rly can't sing on pitch, a true friend can clue u in if ur tone deaf. :) Just have to take it on a case by case basis I guess.
