No, I haven't read that, so it wasn't inspired by it :) But I guess I do see similarities now that I have. And I'm glad you're enjoying this story so much!
Was this in any way inspired by By the Waters of Babylon by Stephen Vincent Benet? There's definitely some similarities. But of the good kind. You should definitely read it if you haven't. Thank you, honestly I wasn't too sure about actually posting this story. It was really just something I've always had in my mind for the longest time. You'll just have to wait and see what I have in store for Frank :)
I really love the originality of this! Although I'm already freaking out for poor Frank...something bad is going to happen, something real bad....
