Favorite Album
Hmm, thsi is a hard question - when i first heard TBP it was my favourite, even before I knew who MCR even were; and then I lved Bullets, and then Revenge... but right now I guess my favourite is Danger Days, because all the songs are so imaginative, and you can really get into the killjoy idea -- and then you listen to the lyrics and it still means so much. =)
Usually my answer is "The Black Parade", but I've been listening to "Danger Days" the most lately. I love how they become something different with each album - that's why they're one of my favourite bands!
I'd usually say my favorite is Bullets, but I've been loving Revenge lately. Both of them are just so angry, emotional, and psychopathic.
Revenge is most definitely my favorite album. It's the first one I listened to despite the fact that I had already owned Bullets. My creativity for any story peaks the most when I listen to the songs and they're quite relaxing on stressful days. Trying to make people understand how they could be considered relaxing is never easy but it's the truth.
More of my "favorite" (not that I find any bad, but ones I love just that little bit more) songs are on Revenge, and I lovelovelove Revenge, but Bullets is just... beautiful. The rawness, the grit, the emotional mess of it all. The dirtiness of the sound, like they weren't quite sure what the hell was going on or how to work anything, but fuck it, they just wanna make some music... it's just amazing. And Demolition Lovers! Christ, that song makes me want to cry and laugh and I just feel so much listening to it and the rest of the album. <3
I think my favorite will always be Revenge. It's the album that got me hardcore into them; well, it just got me hooked! Obviously with that kind of emotional connection, Revenge is my favorite. I just love everything about the album. I love the religious allusions, the play on metaphors, and the aggressive feel to it. Whenever I listen to My Chemical Romance, I get inspired, but with Revenge it's even more so.
My favorite album depends of my mood. Usually when I'm all happy I listen to Danger Days, when I'm pissed I listen to Revenge, when I'm sad I listen to Black Parade and then Bullets is what I listen to no matter what mood I'm in. So I guess my favorite album is Bullets. Sorry for the long explanation.
TBP got me into MCR in the first place, so it'll always hold a special place in my heart, but music (and message) wise, Revenge is top. The story behind it is just so...heart-wrenching. Very inspiring.
Ummm....... Danger Days or..... TBP.... but Revenge was awesome. Why make me choose? As someone already commented beautifully, it depends on how my life has been going lately and my mood. Because on different days I get different emotions while listening to 'Mama' which is quite possibly my favorite song. Okay, I will go with Danger Days because the song 'Sing' saved my life. The band themselves and the rest of their songs pushed me out of depression enough to realize I was in it. But 'Sing' saved my life. And besides, let's face it, we all would make some fucking awesome Killjoys.
I can't decide! I love them all, Bullet's is fucking awesome as just a total rocky, angsty, 'I wanna rip off your face' album. Three Cheers has one of my two favourite ever songs on it (Thank You For The Venom). I didn't love the concept of TBP but it does have some pretty amazing songs on it such as 'Mama' and 'I Don't Love You'. But Danger Days is the first album where I really got into them, I've known about them for 6 years, since Revenge because my Aunty was obsessed with 'em. But I gotta say 'The Kids From Yesterday' has saved my life. Literally. But that's a whole other story... and then the Conventional Weapons Sessions are just what My Chem have come from, you can hear every ounce of their influences in that album.
But, overall? Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. Helena was the first song I heard by them, then I'm Not Okay has been the soundtrack to my high school life. And Thank You For The Venom, fucking hell, what a masterpiece.
Yeh, sorry I'm rambling.

My favorite album right now is The Black Parade. Whichever album I like best normally alterates with my moods, so this point in my life is definitely best suited with The Black Parade. Every song is perfect for me currently.
