Your Story

New to posting fanfiction for people to read? Wondering whether anyone would be interested in your idea? Want to bring back an old story of yours but not sure whether anyone would be interested now?

Simple: just post a brief summary here of your story, ask whether anyone would read a story dealing with the theme of yours, or see whether anyone recognises the title of your old story that you're wishing to bring back. Ask for opinions and just see whether anyone would be willing to read what you wish to post.

2/3 years ago I started posting a story on Mibba under the title Starless Eyes which focused on Mikey and my OC Kitty. It ended up being 54 chapters long and was fairly popular back then. Now I'm wondering whether anyone would be interested if I edited the chapters and started to post it on this site so that I can delete it from my Mibba account. I was known as JustALittleGirl while posting the story and I know that some readers used to see my username and think of that story. I just kinda want it to exist somewhere on the internet but am hesitant to delete it from Mibba until it's posted somewhere else.

Does anyone remember the story if they were one of the readers before? Obviously there'd be quite a few changes as I've developed as a writer, but in general it'd follow the same plotline and end the same way.

I'm sure people would find it interesting, if you have developed as a writer. I mean, I'm kind of doing the same with my first story ever on Mibba and, although it wasn't that "popular" or whatever, I had my share of readers, and found my share of friends among that number, and there were a few people asking me for that rewritten version a long time after I finished the story.
What I'm trying to say is that you should give it a try. There will always be someone interested and, honestly? If you're rewriting it and think you can make it better, I think you should do it. For yourself and for the story. The readers will come if they have to :)

Yeah, I'm always adamant about writing for myself, but I kinda just wanted to know whether if I posted it up on here that at least someone would read it. I think it'd do my story the world of good to be re-written and posted up somewhere else before being deleted from Mibba.
