MCR Breakup.
I think in part Gerard got bored of what they were doing and wanted to try something different and made the decision for all of them and from reading various things Frank has said since the break up he knew it was coming but didn't want it to happen and I dunno about Mikey and Ray, there's not as much circulating from them about the split. Gerard went through some hard times during Danger Days (slipping back into alcohol and starving himself) and I get that's why he ended the band but I keep thinking, wouldn't the pressure of still being a front man/solo artist be the same, regardless of who's playing in his band? I would love for MCR to get back together but honestly I don't see it happening, I think Gerard has made his decision of where he wants to go musically and I dont see him going back.

For sure! I totally agree with the frontman thing. Kinda sucks we didn't get a tour for CW (Only bitter because by then I could finally drive and afford to go), but if they're happy... Then i'm happy.

Yeah hun there was an interview around like a few weeks ago where he said he was pretty much starving himself and stuff....I will try to find it and link it if you want to read

It was his interview with the LA times....the one with pics of him inside his house. The exact part is this: "But by the time the band was making what became its final album, 2010's "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys," the pressure to live up to his reputation had helped drive Way back to familiar problems: depression, substance abuse and issues with body image. "I'll look at pictures of myself then and see somebody that had relapsed into alcohol and was completely starving himself," the singer said. So I was just listening to Fake Your Death and Life on the Murder Scene for the first time, and am now pretty depressed. Anyways, I was reading the comments, and most people seem to think that they will be getting back together. I seriously doubt that, and will be pissed if that is the case. BUT THIS IS NOT THE POINT OF ME TYPING THIS.
THE POINT IS: Does anyone else get the drift that they all like making music... Just not with each other? I'm asking because they're all in bands as frontmen, creating new stuff... except Toro, but hell, that might change too. Maybe they just got tired of each other.
