After me and Frank broke up, it was only weeks before 7th grade was over. My heart had been shattered... Gerard could tell, but i tried to hide it from him. You see we had two seperate beds, on seperate sides of the room... but we had to share a room since the other room was occupied by his younger brother Mikey. One night as we were heading off to bed, he told me to lay in his with him for a while. i was confused but agreed. as i lay with him, he put his arms around me. "Hon, you sure your OK, you sure dont seem it."
"Im fine Gee." i smiled.
"Hellna." he used my pet name, "I can tell your not 'fine'. i know it hurts in all but sweet heart, im here. so just talk to me."
"Honestly Gee I'm fine!" i smiled. then he saw my notebook and told me to sing him a song i wrote... two of them.
i started with Flood:

"Is Ashley a fake name?" Gee asked and i sighed. "I know your in pain." i heard him say, his voice was strained. "Why wont you talk to me." he begged.
Gee POV:
"Because im fine Gee, it was for the best and we're better off as friends," she said but i could see the pain in her gorgeous blue eyes... god i wanted her to be mine. I loved her more than i could ever scream... she was my "ashley" i wasn't able to see why she was letting him hurt herthis much... but i understood. she smiled at me, her pink lips perfect. I needed to feel her lips against mine again... that one kiss, in fifth grade left me yearning for her, needing her, in love with her.
"If you say so," my voice was strained, even i could hear it, "But im always here to talk." i smiled weakly... i swear if Frank wasn't my bestfriend since forever he'd be dead right now.

Helena's POV
I truely did want to tell Gerard, but i feared i would break down crying in front of him again. His hand reached to my chest and picked up the heart pentagram charm. "Its quite pretty isnt it?" i smiled.
"Yes, indeed, but not nearly as pretty as the owner." he said. I blushed and giggled. That was Gee for ya, always complimenting me... i wonder whats going on in that boys head. I didnt care though, i felt like i was about topass out so i stood up and walked to my bed.
"Night Gee."
"Night." i could hear the smile in his voice. When im literally "asleep on my feet" i tend to say thing id say to my moma at night, or to my uncle or daddy before he started drinking after my moma died.
"Love ya." i muttered before dozing off.
"I love you too, i truely do," i heard Gee say before i was out cold.
The next morning i woke up to find Gerard getting dressed. i sighed and stood up, streatching out all of my stiffness. Gee smiled at me like i didnt know something he did. i shrugged it off and threw on a pair of Skinny jeans and a "deathbyfrugality" shirt. i didnt wear make up, never have. i kept my hair down... im weird when it comes to my hair... my hair is natural blonde with natural black roots, and natural black high and low lights. after i couldnt find my jacket, or shoes i got frustrated.
"Here," i heard Gerard say as he handed me a pair of his old (and really comfy) combat boots and his favorite leather jacket. i put the boots on and hugged him.
"You can wear the jacket," he smiled, "I dont mind. ive had it forever and its really comfy." i smiled and pulled it on.
"THANKX!" i squeaked and hugged him. he giggled and smiled as he hugged me back. i looked into his gorgeous Hazel eyes and smiled.
"Com'on or we'll be late." he smiled. i nodded and walked along with him... it was mid summer and extremely hot... but i was wearing a long sleve to hide the fresh cuts from gerard. You see we were heading to Franks house. In eighth grade we met Ray Toro and Bob Bryar. Gerard got them as well ask frank and mikey to create a band. he offered me a place in it but i denied, i couldnt sing or play any instruments. he said ok. Once we were at Franks i smiled, i missed this place.
"FRO FRO!" i screamed and ran over to ray and hugged him. he laughed and roared like a dinosaur.
"You sure have gotten over your shyness." i heard Frank say from behind me. i turned around after Ray let go. I smiled.
"Well its thanks to you and Gee." i smiled, god i missed him and it was visble by the scars on my wrists... that only i had seen or known of. "Missed you." i said giving him a quick hug before going to talk to Bobert.
