GERARDS POV
Now that I knew that Mikey had feelings for Rose, I had to find out if she has feeling for him too. I walked up to her at break when she was alone at her locker. Everyone was out of ear shot. “So, I must know who do you have a crush on” I smirked she just turned red and said nothing “It’s Mikey isn’t it.” I smiled deviously.
“Yeah, how did you know?” She narrowed her eyes. “Meh, just a guess” I said casually picking at my cuticles. It was pretty obvious, and I’m sure all the other guys knew it too. I wasn’t going to tell them about their feelings for each other. I wanted the two love birds to figure it out for themselves.
ROSE POV
Gerard came up too me at break time and asked me who I had the hots for, and oddly enough he knew it was Mikey, could Mikey have said something to him about the hand holding thing? And what if Gerard tells Mikey I have feelings for him. That was really a stupid move telling Gerard that I like his brother. I fumed Shit, I never think things over before I act or say.
I decided to skip gym class today, I rely hate Phys Ed with a passion, because everyone always gives me a hard time for failing it. I walked through the empty hall ways, and slipped into a small dark room with a piano. And ever so quietly I started to play Mellon Colley and The Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins.
I heard the creak of the old empty class room door, and a familiar face appears at the door. Its Mikey, “Hey” He says “Can I come in?” “Sure.” I smile nervously. “What song were you playing?” He says looking into my eyes and sitting next to me. “Melon Colley and The Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins.” I say shyly.
“I love that song!” Mikey smirks “Keep playing.” So I do as he says and continue playing the song. When I’m finished he claps silently. “That was great!” He smiles playing with his hair. “Thank you.” I stare down at my shoes.
Then I do something crazy, which leads into something even crazier. I look up at him, and he smiles at me and I smile back. Then we both start to slowly lean in, and my lips are met with Mikeys. As stupid and corny as this sounds; the kiss was magical. And just as we broke away from the kiss that bitch of a French teacher barged in and got angry for us skipping class.
Even thought we got scolded for skipping school, and not to mention ‘showing our public displays of affection.’ I think I had a pretty good day.
