Gerard’s POV

I was sat in the corner of a dark room trying to work out what part of me hurt the most and right now everything was the same amount of pain.
I went to move my wrist but hissed at the pain of what the cuffs was giving me since they was done up too tight around my wrist.
I sighed quietly as I pulled my knees up to my chest which made me wince in pain but I didn’t care at the moment and that’s when I heard loads of people upstairs in the main part of the house which made me frown as the person I was currently with never really hard anyone around, only a few people to use me.
I was confused when I heard them shouting that they was police but again I thought this could be a sick joke as everyone in this game was always careful about not getting caught by anyone and if there was even a sniff of the police getting to close then I was forced to move on to the next person.
I stayed quiet and moved closer to the pole I was handcuffed to and the footsteps sounded like they moved around the house and that when I saw the basement door open and the light being turned on which made me flinch from the light and I let my eyes adjust slightly and I looked round the room and it scared me more with the light on than what it did in the dark, at least my imagination made it look and feel nicer than what it was.
“Guys I found something!” The person shouted which made me jumper and move more into the corner and I had no trust for anyone.
The way I figured things out was 1 person was going to be okay and it was going to be quick, 2 people or more meant you was in for a ride and it was pure hell.
Two men came down the stairs and stopped as they first looked round the room and their eyes soon fixed onto me.
“Oh shit.” One of the said and I looked down trying to get the cuffs off me but it was going to work which the I started to cry as my pathetic attempt of trying to escape was failing badly.
“Hey, don’t worry. We’re the good guys okay.” One of the people said as he took his hat thing off along with giving this belt to the other person he was with and he walked slowly over to me.
I panicked and really pulling on the cuffs which made my wrist start to bleed.
“Get away from me!” I shouted as more tears rolled down my cheeks.
“I’m not going to hurt you.” The man said and I looked at him as I shook my head as I tried to move myself more into the corner.
“Hey, Hey don’t do that there’s no more room for you in the gap. Also you need to stop fighting the restraints as you are hurting yourself.” The man said softly and I shook my head as I continued to panic and get out of the handcuffs.
“We need someone down here to sedate him as he isn’t going to calm down any time soon.” A person said and the man looked at me and then to the other two men behind him and he nodded and one of them went upstairs while the other one looked around the basement.
“Can you tell me your name and how old you are?” The man asked and I looked at him still really frighten and panicking.
“G..G..Gerard, I’m 16.” I said quietly and the man nodded.
A couple of seconds later two more people came downstairs and walked over to me and I looked at them and saw one of them had a needle which I didn’t like so I was really fighting to get away now.
“Gerard, look at me.” The man said and I looked at him but I was only looking at him slightly.
“If we give you this then it’ll make you sleepy and you can go to sleep.” The man said and I just shook my head as I looked at the needle.
“He doesn’t like needles.” The man said quietly to the others and the person holding the needle said something quietly to the man and he nodded as he took something off them and he moved closer to me which made me moved away from him.
“I’m sorry but this is for the best right now.” The man said and before I could react I felt something in my arm and a few seconds later I felt my eyes getting heavy.

“Okay he’s out of it now, let’s get him out of here and to hospital.” Was the last thing I heard before I was in a deep sleep.
