Hunger Games (Frerard)
Prologue
This was the day, the day one male and one female would be picked from each district to enter the hunger games.
In district one Michael James Way was just finishing his shift. He walked towards the district square and checked in. Sarah Orzechowski had already checked in and was standing with the other girls in her district.
In district two Hayley Williams was playing with Ray Toro’s fro. Suddenly noticing the time, the both of them stood up and walked over to check in together.
Over in district three Brendon Boyd Urie was just finishing throwing up from his last job. He didn’t like to admit it but he had a weak stomach. He started leaving when his co-worker, Jamia Nestor approached him.
“Hey Jams,” said Brendon,”you nervous?”
“Yeah,” she admits,”I know it’s not likely that I’ll get picked but I can’t help but worry.”
“I know how you feel.” he says as they check in.
All the way in district four Frank Iero is running from his abusive father. He runs straight to check in knowing his father can’t hurt him there. Meanwhile Ashlee Simpson is wandering through an open field collecting flowers as she passes by them. Suddenly she hears a bell signaling five minutes to (the choosing). She runs to check in and barely makes it.
In district five Gerard Arthur Way is making out with his girlfriend, Lindsey Ballato. As an old woman passes she yells at them to get off of each other. They comply and start to walk to check in.
Finally in district six Bob Bryar is just walking out the door and heading to check in while Alicia Simmons has barely just woken up. She scrambles to get ready. Once she is she sprints barely getting there in time.
Back in district one Amelda Keswick had just picked the first name, Sarah Orzechowski. She moves to the male bowl and picks out a name, Michael Way.
Later in district two Amelda picks out a single slip of paper.
“Hayley Williams,” she announces. She picks out a second slip of paper.
“Ray Toro,” says Amelda.
In district three the names have already been picked, Brendon Urie and Jamia Nestor.
Over in district four Ashlee Simpson has just been picked. Amelda goes over selects a slip of paper and reads it aloud.
“Frank Lero,” she says incorrectly.
“It’s Iero.” he corrects.
In district five Gerard is crying, Lindsey Ballato has just been chosen for the hunger games.
“Gerard Way.” Amelda announces. His name snaps him out of his trance.
Finally in district six, Bob Bryar and Alicia Simmons are being shoved on a train headed straight for the capital.
