Frank’s POV
We’ve been in the new house for a month and for me it was nice to have peace but at the same time I missed the arguing the kids did.
“I have a question for you.” Mason said as he walked out to one of the covered lanai the house and he sat opposite me.
“What might that be?” I asked as I smoked my cigarette.
“So you pretty much used to hide the fact you way gay from mum and everyone.” Mason said and I frowned at him.
“Yeah I did but your mother was okay with the fact of me being gay after I told her when the girls was born.” I said and Mason nodded slightly.
“What is this all about Mase? Is this you coming out or something?” I asked confused slightly.
“I think I have feelings for Ewan.” Mason said quietly as he looked down and messed with his hands so I moved and sat next to him on the sofa and pulled him to my side.
“Okay, What makes you think that then?” I asked and Mason sighed.
“Every time I see him it makes my heart skip a beat and he so nice dad.” Mason said and I chuckled softly which made Mason look at me.
“Well you know there are guys round your age who are nice and will make your heart skip a beat. But I believe Ewan is with a girl so there for he is out of the question. I know it hard and that people are going to be assholes towards you because you are gay but you don’t listen to them and just be happy with yourself.” I said and Mason sighed as he looked down.
“It also sucks when the person your crushing on is straight, I know that much.” I said and Mason smiled as he nodded.
“All you have to do is sit tight and there is the perfect boy out there for you. You’ll just have to be patient.” I said and Mason nodded as he looked at me.
“Before Gerard did you ever find the perfect one?” Mason asked and I smiled as I shook my head.
“Nope, Gerard is my perfect one and he always will be the perfect one to me.” I said and Mason smiled.
“Go get ready for school otherwise you’ll be late.” I said quietly and Mason sighed.
“Can I have a personal day? I don’t want to go to school today.” Mason asked and I nodded as I kissed the side of his head.
“Sure you can buddy.” I said as I got up and rushed the others around so they could get to school on time.
I was busy trying to sort out the family room since even after a month of being in the new house it was still a shit hole full of boxes which the kids haven’t claimed yet.
“Swear to god you kids are going to be the death of me.” I muttered as I looked at this one box and saw it was Finley’s stuff so I picked it up and took it too her room which happened to be the smaller room in the house but she didn’t care about that in the slightest.
It took me most of the day to put the boxes in each room with some help from Mason and now I was just lead on the floor in the family room thinking.
“You Alright There Babe?” Gerard said as he walked in the room after being away for a month.
“Just having a midlife crisis about what to do with the house.” I said and Gerard chuckled as he sat down next to me and kissed me which I returned.
“It’s fine for the moment.” Gerard said and I looked at him.
“It’s not fine at the moment the house is a shit hole.” I said and Gerard rolled his eyes at me and he lead down next to me.
“Well I’m back now so you don’t have to worry about doing it on your own.” Gerard said and he kissed me.
“We aren’t the only ones in the house.” I whispered as I kissed Gerard and sat up and Gerard groaned quietly as he sat up and I lent over to him and kissed him.
“Later, I promise.” I whispered against his lips as I stood up and went to sort some washing out.
“So which one is it?” Gerard asked as he followed me to the utility room to sort of washing out.
“Mason, he’s having a midlife crisis so he’s having a personal day.” I said and Gerard looked behind him and he walked into the utility room and shut the door behind him.
“Well he’s not going to be leaving his room for a while, and we have this room too ourselves.” Gerard said and I chuckled as I walked over and kissed him hard which Gerard returned and pinned me against the side.

“Don’t you fucking think about it.” I said seriously to Gerard as he walked towards me as I relaxed by the pool with everyone.
“I don’t know what your talking about.” Gerard said as he got to me and kissed me which I returned and I frowned at Gerard who nodded and I felt myself being picked up and thrown in the pool.
“You bastards!” I coughed once I got to the side of the pool and everyone was laughing as Mason jumped in the pool as well which made me smile as I turned round and watched the kids having fun and I felt some legs go over my shoulders which made me look and I saw Gerard and I smiled at him which he returned.
I moved and got out of the pool and walked towards the sitting room me and Gerard had to ourselves.
Gerard followed me and I was just taking my shorts off when I left myself being pulled in Gerard’s chest.
“There is a time and place for this.” I said as Gerard kissed my neck.
“Well we have the place as for the time we just need to hurry.” Gerard said and I turned round and I jumped up and wrapped my legs around Gerard and we went to one of the walk in closets as we would of been out of sight and we wouldn’t be heard from the kids.

“So how is wooing dad getting on?” Tallie asked as she lent against the island the kitchen had as I made myself some breakfast while everyone was still fast asleep minus Tallie.
“I don’t get what you mean.” I said confused.
“Well it’s clearly obvious that you two are going to be together for a really long time so we was all thinking when you was going to get down on one knee.” Tallie said and I chuckled as I looked at her.
“Sweetie me and your dad have only been together for a year and in that time your dad has been away from home for most of the time and we’ve got you lot to think about so the last thing on our minds is getting married.” I said and Tallie looked down and then looked at me.
“So, that doesn’t stop people who are meant to be together like you two are meant to be. So what if dad is away most of the time away you two act more loved up each day than what most couples do when they first get together. Frank please think about it.” Tallie said as I sat round the island.
“Think it’s a bit too soon to get down on one knee.” I said as I started to eat my breakfast.
“You never know, that’s all I’m saying.” Tallie said as she patted the island top and I just rolled my eyes at her.
“Anyway we’re talking about something else at the moment so at the moment any wedding bells are on hold.” I said and Tallie frowned at me and I smiled at her.
“You’ll find out soon.” I said as I got up and put my bowl in the sink and I went back to mine and Gerard’s room where Gerard was still fast asleep.
“Your daughter wants us to get married.” I said as I cuddled into Gerard’s back as he sighed loudly.
“Too soon in the relationship.” Gerard mumbled.
“And yet we’re talking about having a kid together.” I said and Gerard rolled over and looked at me.
“If things fuck up, the kids can adapt, we fuck up when we’re married it’s a lot of heart ache and it gets ugly and that’s something what I don’t want.” Gerard said and I sighed as I looked down.
“I don’t want our kids to have to adapt to us not being together. I want our kids to be happy with us and with themselves. They’ve had upset in their lives and I don’t want me and you to create anymore upset if this goes tits up.” I said and Gerard smiled as he moved and kissed the end of my nose.
“Well let’s not fuck this up then.” Gerard whispered as he got himself comfy and he fell asleep again and I sighed as I quietly got out of the bed and went to the sitting room what was just mine and Gerard’s.
“So wait you are thinking about bringing a baby in the house?” Emery asked confused as we was just having a family meeting as it was a good way for me and Gerard to catch up on the kids and we can tell each other if anything was wrong and what me and Gerard had planned.
“If we get accepted to be adoptive parents then yeah.” Gerard said.
“So you’re replacing us then?” Emery asked as she looked at me.
“No we’re not replacing any of you. Yes I know we are family and everything and me and Gerard think of you all as our own kids but we both missed out of your baby years and your childhood.” I said and Emery scoffed.
“Fucking bullshit and you know it, what if you fuck up with this kid? You fucked up with us so what is stopping you fucking up again because it’s going to happen.” Emery said as she stood up and walked off.
I looked down as that hurt a lot and I got up and went to mine and Gerard’s room and sat on the bed as a couple of tears rolled down my cheeks.
“Baby?” Gerard said as he walked into the room.
“She’s right Gee.” I said quietly as I felt Gerard sit beside me and he pulled me to his side and kissed the top of my head.
“No she’s not, because yes we both fucked up but this time we will make sure we won’t fuck up and we will have each other.” Gerard said and I looked at him but soon looked down.
“Go and speak to her because I’m sorry baby but she’s a bitch and rude and she is still holding a grudge against you.” Gerard said and I nodded as I looked at him.
“I’m going to.” I said quietly and Gerard smiled at me which I returned as I stood up and went looking for Emery who was by the cover lanai by mine and Gerard’s room.
“Seriously, I know you are still pissed off with me for leaving you when you was little but you do not take it out on Gerard. That man has welcomed you into his home and he treats you like you are his kids so you can be as rude as you want towards me but I’m fucked if you are going to be rude to him.” I said seriously and Emery looked at me as she smoked what smelt like a joint.
“Wow, you was told not to bring drugs into the house, you was told to respect Gerard and here you are acting like a total brat.” I said and Emery put the joint down and walked over to me.
“What do you expect? You abandoned me when I was a baby, you left me with a monster! You then bring us into home and it’s something I’m not used to and then you want to bring a baby here? How the fuck does that even happen, you was barely there for me, Finley or for Mason!” Emery shouted.
“I didn’t fucking abandon you lot I was kicked out! Yes my drugs too a hold of my life and I fucking regret that to this day!” I shouted at Emery who flinched which made me look at her but she was looking down.
“Did your bitch of a mother hurt you?” I asked softly and Emery didn’t say anything.
“Em you need to tell me otherwise I can’t do nothing. I know I have failed each and every one of you guys but I’m here now and I will do everything I can to protect you.” I said and Emery looked at me.
“How do I know your not like her or the bastard?” Emery sniffed.
I walked over to her and pulled her into a big hug.
“I am nothing like your mother or the bastard. I would never hurt any of you. You are all my babies and nobody will ever get between me or you guys.” I said softly as I kissed the top of her head and held her close to me.
“I love you Emery. Please don’t let the poison what your mother has said about me ruin this.” I said quietly and Emery looked at me.
“She always said you would love drugs more than us, that you ran away because we was horrible children and nobody would ever love us and that if we was bad, bad things would happen to us.” Emery sniffed and it broke my heart a little so I pulled her more into a hug and I kissed the top of her head.
“You guys and Gerard are the one thing I love more than anything, I didn’t run away I was kicked out because at the time your mother was a decent person and I was the asshole. But you aren’t horrible I can understand why you are behaving like this. Well everyone here loves you okay and no bad things will happen here. This house is all about letting go of the past and looking forward to the future.” I said and Emery looked at me debating wether to say something or not.
“You can say what you want to say.” I said and Emery sighed as she looked down.
“He did stuff to me and Fin.” Emery whispered and I frowned at her confused.
“What?” I asked confused and Emery looked at me.
“The bastard did stuff to me and Fin.” Emery sniffed as I pulled her into a hug as she cried and all I could feel was a lot of anger.
“Well we’ll get the son of a bitch okay. Nobody is ever going to hurt my girls again.” I said quietly as I kissed the top of her head.
“I’m fucking telling you if I ever find that bastard then his bollacks are getting chopped off.” I said to Gerard as he helped with cooking but if anything he was just getting in the way.
“Think you just need to take a deep breath.” Gerard said and I glared at him.
“And if this was Tallie you wouldn’t be acting like how I am?” I asked and Gerard smiled as he walked over and kissed me.
“Nope because I know you would be behaving like this, so where I would be pissed off about it, I know you will probably kill the bastard just like how do you do now.” Gerard said and I smiled as Gerard stepped back and just watched me.
“How could someone do that though.” I sighed as I put the knife down as I turned round and looked at Gerard.
“There’s sick people out there baby.” Gerard said and I sighed as I looked in the family room and everyone was sat there watching a film.
“Their good kids Gee, I know Em is being a bitch at the moment but in their own way they are all good.” I said quietly and Gerard hugged me from behind and kissed me cheek.
“And they are lucky to have you as their dad. Going to be a brave lad whoever the girls bring back home.” Gerard said which made me chuckle.
“And also god help the bastard who breaks their hearts or even hurts any of them. Because even I don’t want to get on your bad side.” Gerard said and I chuckled as I turned round and kissed him.
“There’s no bad side to me.” I said and Gerard smiled.
“Now you either help or get out my bloody way.” I said and Gerard chuckled as he moved and went to join the kids in the family room.
After we had eaten me and Gerard just wanted to be alone so we went to our room and talked about everything which had happened today and I was hoping to get Mason, Emery and Finley to try and open up to us about what happened.
“You think this is a good idea? I mean if we have 3 unstable children then it’s not fair to bring a baby into all of this.” I said as I sat next to Gerard on the sofa in our room.
“What we need to think about is that maybe only Em and Fin are having a hard time coming into this sort of household, Mason bloody loves it here and too be honest when he stayed before you decided to ruin my life..” Gerard said and I looked at him and smacked his chest which made Gerard smiled as he kissed me.
“You ruined it in a good way.” Gerard whispered against my lips as he kissed me.
“Anyway, that boy wasn’t happy then and I could see that, now he’s a completely different lad, he enjoys life now and he is a normal 15 year old boy.” Gerard said and I just sighed as I moved so I was sitting sideways on the sofa and I started to mess with Gerard’s hair.
“Fin has been so quiet, I mean from what I remember Em has always been the forward going one out the 3 of them to be honest. But she’s really quiet Gee, I’m worried about how quiet she is.” I said and Gerard looked at me.
“So people are just that quiet, I mean unlucky for us at least 4 of them are very forward going and maybe Fin just finds it hard to find her spot because when Tallie, Ewan, Mase and Em are arguing all I was to do I just walk away and leave and sometimes I do. Maybe Fin it that sort of person, but as long as she has Em she’s going to be okay. It’s like with Tallie and Ewan, as long as the twins have each other’s backs then Mase just fits between the twins.” Gerard said and I just sighed.
“Feel sorry for him as everyone has someone but him.” I said and Gerard chuckled a little as he smiled.
“Maybe he likes it like that, there’s less drama.” Gerard said and I rolled my eyes at him as I lead down and I rested my head on Gerard’s lap so we could watch this film and Geraed started to mess with my hair but it was short lived by someone knocking on the door and I looked up and saw Em and Fin.
“Hey girls.” Gerard said happily as I sat up and looked at the girls.
“What’s up?” I asked and Fin looked at Em for reassurance and Em nodded as she caught hold of her hand.
“Hey whatever you have to say I’m not going to be angry at you.” I said softly and Fin took a deep breath as she stepped forward letting go of Em hand as she walked over to me and Gerard and sat next to me.
I moved from Gerard’s side and pulled Fin into my side as she sniffed and a few tears rolling down her cheek and I wiped it away.
“The bastard hurt me more than Em.” Fin whispered and I held her close to me as I glared at Gerard who knew how I felt about this.
“Come here Em.” Gerard said softly and Em walked over to Gerard and she cuddled into his side.
“We’ll Get him okay. We’ve just got to find where he is and all that sort of stuff.” I said quietly as I kissed the side of Fin head.
“Can we stay with you tonight?” Fin asked as she looked at me and I looked at Gerard and nodded.
“Yeah, me and Gee will have to sofa tonight and you two can have the bed.” I said and Em and Fin nodded.
“Hey you can even watch a film of your choice.” I said and Fin smiled as they headed over to the bed and they got into into the bed and I got up and walked over to the bed and they both moved over as I climbed over Fin and sat between them.
I looked over at Gerard who smiled at me as he got himself comfy on the sofa and watched whatever crap he watched.
The girls managed to find a film and they was both cuddled into my side which made me smile as I kissed the top of their heads.

“Your safe now.” I whispered as the girls settled down for the night and I just was this Disney film the girls had put on.
