We were on the way home when i looked in the mirror and saw Helena was asleep. She looked so cute.

She was still in her bikini with just a towel around her torso, reminding me of today when i rubbed sunscreen on her back, how i got that courage i don't know but her skin was flawless and soft.

We got home and straight away Mikey got out and went straight inside leaving the door open.

I got out and open Helena's door. "Helena?" She didn't respond.

I sighed and put one hand under her legs and one round her back and carefully picked her up bridal style. She looked so peaceful. She suddenly moved so i automatically stood still not wanting her to wake.

She sighed and then snuggled into my chest, grabbing my tee-shirt. It made me smile, i never wanted to put her down.

I shut the front door and she woke up. "Gee?" she asked looking up at me with curios eyes.

"Sorry to wake you" I said looking down at her.

I got to her room and opened the door, i put her down carefully and pulled the covers from under her to tuck her in.

"I don't want to sleep in my bikini, its sandy" I nodded

"Okay uh where do you keep you pj's?"

"Middle draw" She said yawning.

I went over to the draw and looked for pj's, it was a hot night so i went for shorts and a tank top.

"Good fashion, thank you." She smiled obviously waking up a little bit.

She made me turn around whilst she was getting dressed. "Done"

She said and when i turned around she was all tucked up in bed.

I frowned, she took away my job. "Okay, well night Helena"

"Mm night"

I left the room quite deflated, i liked taking care of her, it made me feel closer to her - like a boyfriend.

I sat up for about an hour watching something rubbish on TV whilst my dad was texting me letting me know everyone was home safe and sound. To put it honestly i was completely and utterly bored.

I suddenly heard whimpering, it sounded like crying. I got up to try and find the source of the noise. I didn't think it was Mikey, he hasn't had one since he was younger.

I walked towards Helena's room and the noise got louder. It then became full on crying so without thinking a barged in to Helena tossing and turning with tears down her face.

"Stop - Please don't" i rushed over to her side.

"Helena" No response to i shook her whilst repeating her name.

She sat up straight and turned her head straight to me. Tears still rushing down her face.

I pulled her into my chest. "Sssh. Don't cry, it's okay - your okay"

We stayed like that for a while, me kneeling on the floor and she hugging me tightly. In different circumstances i would've really enjoyed this.

"I'm sorry I - "

"Don't apologize, it's not your fault"

We fell into a comfortable silence still in the same position with Hel sniffling once in a while.

"Are you okay now?" i asked only because my knees were starting to hurt otherwise i would've stayed all night.

"Yeah" She said nodding "Thank you"

I smiled at her and went to leave, just as i got to the door she called out to me.

"Wait, G?" I looked towards her, she looked so broken yet gorgeous.

"Don't leave, stay with me tonight, i don't want to be alone."

I nodded and she shifted over on her bed. "Only if you want .." She said.

"Of course, i don't mind"

I climbed into her bed and she automatically went and leaned against my chest.

A little shocked i slowly moved my arm to go around her which made her shuffle towards me further.

"Tell me a story" she whispered.

"Uh, im not -"

"Please?" She took her head off my chest to look up at me. I looked down at her puppy dog eyes and nodded.

"Okay so um?"

"Tell me about your childhood" She said/ asked. I suddenly thought of the perfect story that was humiliating but will cheer her up straight away.

"Have i ever told you about the time in university when i went in in drag?"

She looked up at me and burst out laughing. "That's so funny, do you have pictures?"

"My mum probably does somewhere" she nodded and thought for a second.

"So what happened, did anyone recognize you?" She questioned

"No, not a soul. My mate Ray even hit on me, i still never let him forget"

"No - way Ray hit on you " She giggled. She has a beautiful giggle

"Yep" She laid back down on my chest and sighed.

We were in a comfortable silence when she whispered. "I'm never going to let you forget that"

"Goodnight Helena" Really not wanting her to humiliate me every day like i know she would. although i was liking that she was happy again.

"I mean, i bet you'd be so cute as a girl. I can picture it now you standing there in a prom dress with Ray"

"Goodnight Helena" I said more forcefully. She giggled and thankfully stayed silent.


A few moments later she murmured. "Thanks G, goodnight"

"Night sugar" when I heard her even breathing my mind couldn't help but wonder to how much we acted like a couple today and how natural it felt. Also how cute she was when she was scared and how much she needed me.

I was seriously falling for this girl, and i didn't mind in the slightest.
