We all piled into the car. Me, Gerard and my friends in one and Mikey and his parents in the other.

Luckily Mrs and Mr Way were dressed in summer clothes so they didn't look out of place at the beach.

Gerard put on some trunks and a tee shirt although Mikey was disappointing as the most summer-y he got was putting on a short sleeved tee shirt, he would have wore a hoody but his mother gave him a lecture about appearances or something, i wasn't really listening as me and Gerard were in hysterics whilst everyone else was scared of Donna.

We all got our spots on the beach. Gerard was behind Heidi, Cal and Me with Donna, Donald and Mikey.

"Isn't she lovely, so pretty, isn't she pretty Gerard?" I heard Donna saying, that made me smile to myself.

"Yeah, she's lovely mum." Gerard said like a typical embarrassed teenager.

I heard Heidi laugh next to me, thinking she heard as well but when i turned to look she was looking all cosy with Cal in their own little world. I decided not to interrupt.

I layed back down and pulled my shades down from my hair.

It seemed like hours when i opened my eyes again. I must have fallen asleep.

"Everyone's gone to get lunch and get some shade" I jumped and whipped my head to the side.

"You made me jump!" He chuckled.

We sat in silence for a little while. Lost in our own thoughts.

"Why didn't you go with them?" i asked breaking the silence.

"hmm?" Gerard asked turning his head to face me, just breaking from his own thoughts. It made me realise how close he actually was.

"Why didn't you join them? I mean you hate the sun." I asked.

He smiled, but it didn't look like it reached his eyes, however i couldn't tell because he had his sunglasses on.

"I stayed behind. A girl like you shouldn't be left on the beach alone." He turned back to the sea.

A Girl like me? What's that supposed to me. "A girl like me?" I said sounding annoyed.

He smiled again, lifting his sunnies off his eyes. "You heard my mum right?"

I played dumb, not knowing whether it was the 'lovely' thing. "No? I was asleep" I said in a duh tone.

He looked at me. "she said you were pretty, beautiful, a heart-breaker, a real catch and that you couldn't possibly be left alone or awoken."

I looked at him and burst out laughing. "No way?"

"she wouldn't shut up about you" I smiled at this.

"How sweet"

We heard noise behind us so we both turned around.

"Ah Helen, your awake" I done a small wave in response.

she pulled something out of her purse and chucked it to Gerard's side. "sunscreen, you burn Gerard so no arguments."

He nodded and opened it. Whilst he put it on him i felt a tap on my side.

"I'm going on a date with Cal" Heidi said excitedly.

"What!?" I shout-whispered.

"I'll explain later! And so will you!" she said hinting to Gerard.

"Heidi, you have it all wrong - "

"Hel, you will explain" I looked at her all funny and turned away.

"Helena dear, you need sunscreen too!" Donna said gesturing to it.

I picked it up and started applying it. When i'd done my front i turned to Heidi to do my back, but she was all loved up with Cal. so i turned to Donna but saw she was laying with Donald and Mikey, well Mikey was nowhere to be seen.

"Want me to do your back?" Gerard asked. I smiled

"Yeah please" I reached to my back and untied the straps and got down on my front. I heard Gerard pick up the sunscreen and a few seconds later the cold cream hit my back.

I shivered "sorry" Gerard said.

I just got comfy laying my head on my crossed arms.

His hands were like magic, it felt so good.

All to soon it was all over. "Can you do my legs to? I don't think i done them properly?" I asked sweetly.

He didn't say anything but i soon felt his hands on my leg.

"All done" He said.

"Oh G?"

"Hm?"

"Can you quickly tie my bikini back up, i don't want to expose myself?" I said.

"sure, where are the straps"

"Uh, at the side somewhere" I couldn't move otherwise he would have seen too much.

"Oh i see" He reached his hand down and it touched my rib cage and it gave me goosebumps.

"Now for the other one" He leaned over me in search for the other one. I started to feel really self concious, what if he could actually see something?

He was moving his hand around to try and find it. He found it but it was right by my boob. I don't think he realised that he accidentally brushed it but it was the best feeling. My skin was tingling and i wanted him to do it again.

"There it is." He said. Then he tied it up meaning his fingers were touching my back gently. My skin had goosebumps despite it being hot out. I really hope he didn't notice.

He patted my back once he was done.

I stayed there for a while and when the sun started to set i looked around and noticed that there was Donna and Donald cuddling watching it. Cal and Heidi sitting together with Cal holding Heidi from behind and me and Gerard, sitting together almost touching.

It made me want to be with him so bad.

Once the sun had gone down Donald suggested it was time to go home.

There you go dolls! I wrote this the other day so it's a bit rushed as my mum came home early.

I'm slow at updating as i am in sixth form and we have started getting loads of essays, apologies but they come first.

I won't abandon this story though i love it to much!!
