Gerard’s POV

I woke up and it felt strange knowing that Frank wasn’t in the house but at the same time I couldn’t help but smile at the fact that Frank said he loved me even though he thought I couldn’t hear him but I did.
I rolled out of bed and had a shower and went to make myself breakfast when I had to go back to the bathroom to take my medication once I did that I went back and made myself breakfast.

I was sat in Frank’s study drawing when my head decided I needed to get out of the house and go looking for a job as there was only so much I could do sitting at home doing nothing so I quickly typed up a CV and I was just about to put my shoes on when someone knocked on the door which made me frown so I went over to the door and opened it and Johanna was stood there.
“Hey Gee, can I come in?” Johanna asked and I frowned at her.
“Why you here?” I asked seriously.
“I missed you Gee.” Johanna said and it still didn’t make sense to me.
“Maybe you should of thought about that because you said you wanted nothing to do with me.” I said and Johanna sighed.
“Please can I come in? I don’t exactly want to talk about it on the street.” Johanna said and I moved to the side slightly and Johanna came in.
“You’re lucky Frank isn’t here, otherwise you would t be setting foot into this house.” I said as I walked past her and went to the kitchen and Johanna followed me to the kitchen.
“Where is he anyway?” Johanna asked as she looked round the kitchen.
“Away, not that it’s any of your business.” I said and I looked at Johanna.
“Gee, I’ve fucked up.” Johanna said.
“So you don’t speak to me for 3 months and then you come into my home and expect everything to go back to how it was before. Sorry Jo but that’s not happening, I need a explanation on what the fuck was going on inside of that head of yours.” I said as I put the kettle on.
“Technically you invited me in.” Johanna said and I just looked at her.
“Okay, yes you deserve a explanation.” Johanna said as I walked over and sat round the table giving Johanna a mug of coffee.

“Go on.” I said as I sat back and Johanna sighed.
“I guess that after the other one I do t want to see you getting hurt. I see a lot of the other one in Frank.” Johanna said and I rolled my eyes.
“Frank isn’t anywhere near like him. You have seen one side of Frank whilst I see another, you have no idea how much stress he goes through with his job, the fact he has to spend a long time away and probably do things nobody else would do. You don’t know about his past.” I said and Johanna smiled slightly.
“But I’m worried about you though Gee, you’re off your medication and going fucking crazy all the time.” Johanna said.
“I never asked you to worry about me. I’m not off my meds anymore, going crazy is part of me and Frank accepts that. Christ when I was manic the other day I took him to where I almost jumped and he supported me. That bastard would never of done that he would of pushed me of the edge.” I said and Johanna looked down.
“You are just in the honeymoon phase at the moment, what is going to happen in a years time, he probably going to show you his true colours and scare the shit out of you.” Johanna said and I rolled my eyes.
“I take every moment I can get with him, because he could walk out the door one day and he may never come back home again. It’s called making the most of having him home which is what we do. We make the most of being home together, I’ve learnt that very quickly and who the fuck are you to tell me about my relationship when you don’t do relationships the only thing you do is spread your legs to the first man which looks at you.” I said but spat the last part.
“I just don’t want you getting hurt.” Johanna said and I scoffed.
“Please the only thing which hurts is my ass after being fucked.” I said and Johanna looked down.
“I love him Jo, please understand that I have made my choice on who I want to be with. I admit that I’ve missed you but I can’t be friends with you if you are going to be hating on Frank so much. You’re worried I understand that but Frank wouldn’t let anyone hurt me. To be honest yeah Frank might have a temper but it’s going to take a fucking lot for him to blow and full blow lose his cool.” I said and Johanna looked at me and smiled.
“I don’t hate him Gee, I’m just making sure that he doesn’t turn out like that last one did. But I can see the love in his eyes for you and yeah if you love him then he has my blessing to fuck you.” Johanna said and I couldn’t help but laugh.
“He’s been doing that for a while now.” I said and Johanna smiled.
“Are we friends again now?” Johanna asked and I smiled as I stood up and Johanna did the same and we hugged each other which made me frown when I felt something on my stomach.
“You pregnant Johanna?” I asked as I pulled back to look at her and she nodded.
“I’m 8 months.” Johanna said and I frowned at her.
“But we haven’t been speaking for 3 month which means you was 4 months when we fell out which then doesn’t make sense as I haven’t lived with you for I dunno how long now. So you either had that pregnancy scare or got rid of it and then fucked some guy and now the bump has appeared.” I said really confused about it.
“The last one was false, I bled the next day. This one was from my fuck buddy and I didn’t realize until I was like 2 months by which point it was too late to get rid of it. Not that I want to now as I’ve grown to love it now.” Johanna said and I just rolled my eyes at her.
“And people call me a slut.” I said and Johanna chuckled.
“That’s because you are, Christ I bet you and frank are at it all the time.” Johanna said and I looked at her with a smirk.
“Trust me, Frank is worse than me.” I said and Johanna rolled her eyes at me.
“Come and watch a film with me.” I said as I caught hold of her hand and walked to the sitting room and sat down and watched films.

Johanna had fallen asleep on the sofa so I put a blanket over her and went to cook some food.
I was miles away with cooking when someone walked out to the kitchen.
“Damn if I knew you was a master chef then I would snatched you up ages ago.” Johanna which made me chuckle.
“Sadly, you have the wrong body parts for me.” I said and Johanna smiled at me as she ran her ha d over her bump.
“Do you want to know anything about the baby?” Johanna asked and I looked at her.
“It’s not my kid that’s for sure so why would I want to know anything about it.” I said confused.
“Because you’re my best friend and I thought you would be happy for me.” Johanna said and I shrugged my shoulders.
“I am happy for you, but like I said it’s not my kid so why would I be interested and it’s not like I’m a girl and go all broody over it.” I said and Johanna chuckled.
“Gee, you are more of a girl than what I am.” Johanna said and I looked at her.
“No I’m not.” I said and Johanna rolled her eyes.
“Yeah you are. I mean who is the woman out of you and Frank?” Johanna said.
“What sort of question is that isn’t it obvious that I’m the woman in our relationship, Frank likes control too much to be the woman.” I said as I dished up dinner.
Johanna moved and stood next to me.
I looked at her confused and she got hold of my hand and put it onto her bump where I felt the baby move and kick.
“Come on please don’t tell me that didn’t make you go just a tiny bit broody.” Johanna said and I rolled my eyes and smiled.
“Fine yes it did. But I’m still young Jo, I don’t even know if Frank’s wants kids with what he does.” I said and Johanna shrugged her shoulders.
“Maybe when this one comes along you two can look after it for me.” Johanna said and I frowned at her.
“Come on, you are my best friend and I want little one to be with someone I trust and love like a brother if something was to happen to me.” Johanna said and I frowned at her still very confused.
“I want you to be the baby’s godfather Gee.” Johanna said.
“You feeling okay because you’re not religious in the slightest.” I said and Johanna chuckled quietly.
“I just don’t want them to go into care and get lost in the system, I’ve been there and I don’t want my child to go through what I did.” Johanna said and I smiled as I knew Johanna went through hell when she was in care.
“Yeah I’ll agree to this.” I said and Johanna smiled and she kissed my cheek.
“Let’s go and eat.” I said quietly and I took mine and Johanna plate over to the table and we sat down and ate.

“I’m telling you if that bloody thing keeps up all night I’m not going to be please.” I said as I climbed into bed with Johanna who made herself comfy on my side of the bed which I didn’t care about since I was going to sleep on Frank’s side anyway.
“Don’t worry it’s asleep, anyway I know what I’m having if you want to know.” Johanna said and I looked at her.
“Well don’t leave me hanging tell me what it is then.” I said and Johanna chuckled.
“It is a boy.” Johanna said and I chuckled to myself.
“Definitely going to turn him gay.” I said and Johanna slapped my arm.
“Don’t say that asshole.” Johanna said as she stole the remote from me.
“Got any names for it yet then?” I asked and Johanna sighed.
“I like either Caspian or Rueben. I have loads of names I like but I’ve narrowed it down to those two.” Johanna said and I smiled.
“I like Caspian, it’s different.” I said and Johanna looked at me and smiled.
“I’ve missed you Gee.” Johanna said quietly and I smiled at her.
“I’ve missed you too Jo.” I said quietly as we settled down for the night.
Well Johanna did I found it hard to settle if I didn’t have Frank with me.

“Jesus did you get any sleep last night?” Johanna asked as she made us both a drink and walked over to the sofa.
“Does it look like I’ve slept? It’s fine the first night is usually the worst one for me.” I said and Johanna smiled at me.
“Damn you’ve really fallen for him hard haven’t you?” Johanna said and I smiled at her and Johanna had her answer.
“Yeah I have. Didn’t think I would find someone but I have Jo, he feels like my soulmate.” I said and Johanna pulled me into a hug which I returned and the baby kicked me.
“That thing is kicking me.” I said and Johanna chuckled.
“He’s just saying good morning.” Johanna said and I smiled as I sat back and looked down and sighed loudly.
“What’s wrong?” Johanna asked.
“It’s nothing, I’m going to take my meds and see if I can get some sleep.” I said and Johanna smiled.
“Okay, we won’t create any trouble I promise.” Johanna said and I chuckled.

“You better not otherwise you’ll be dealing with Frank.” I said and Johanna smiled at me which made me roll my eyes and I went to the bathroom and took my medication and I crawled into bed and hugged Frank’s hoodie and I fell asleep.
