Frank’s POV

Gerard just crashed in the early hours of the morning so I left him asleep on the sofa with a blanket over him while I went for a run to help clear my thoughts a little.
I made sure I left Gerard a note so he didn’t freak out on where I had gone.

I have no idea how I was gone for but by the time I came back Gerard was awake and was cooking something in the kitchen.
“Something smells good.” I said as I put my iPod on the table and walked over to Gerard and wrapped my arms round Gerard.
“Well I thought that you would be hungry after you went for a run.” Gerard said as he turned round and pecked me on the lips which made me smile.
“Go and have a shower as you smell.” Gerard said and I chuckled slightly as I kissed him which Gerard returned.
“Would be better if you joined.” I said as I ran my hands down Gerard’s side.
“I’ll think about it.” Gerard said as he kissed me and I pulled him closer to me and moved so Gerard was pinned to the side.
“Please, it’s been ages.” I said as I pulled back and Gerard rolled his eyes as he kissed me again and I picked him up and put him on the side.
“If your gonna do me then just do me.” Gerard said and I chuckled as I looked at him.
“I can just do that.” I said as I moved and lifted Gerard off the side and walked to the shower.

I rolled over and saw Gerard was still asleep on his front with his hair all over the place and the duvet covering his ass which made me smile, but it was short lived by the phone going off and I rolled over and looked st my phone and saw that I had to go on training tomorrow and it was going to be fore 3 weeks which made sigh and looked back at Gerard.
“Babe.” I said quietly as I moved closer to him and Gerard just sighed but didn’t open his eyes.
“Babe, it’s nearly 3 in the afternoon.” I said which made Gerard open his eyes and looked at me.
“I care because? We’ve been having sex all day, I’m tired.” Gerard said sleepily.
“I’ve got to go to training.” I said and Gerard frowned at me.
“But I thought it was t for a couple of weeks.” Gerard said quietly.
“Neither did I but if I get called to training then I have to go.” I said and Gerard sat up and got out of bed and pulled some pants on and walked out the room and I rolled onto bed and sighed loudly as I rolled over and got out of bed and also got out of bed and went to find Gerard.

I found Gerard in the kitchen making himself a drink.
“Gee.” I said and Gerard looked at me and smiled.
“I’m being stupid, I know what I’ve signed up for in this relationship. I know that you travel and that you spend a long time away from home. I know that you can walk out that door one day and I might not ever see you again.” Gerard said and I noticed some tears roll down his cheeks.
“Gee.” I said softly as I walked over to him and pulled him into a hug which Gerard returned.
“Talk to me baby.” I said quietly and Gerard pulled back and looked down.
“It’s just that after the last person I was with I didn’t think I could find someone I could relate to so much and the fact that you could go and you might never come back, it scares me so much.” Gerard said and I made him look at me.
“I know it’s scary, but I promise you that I will always try and come home to you.” I said and Gerard nodded.
A idea came to my head.
“Do you mind if you start dinner?” I asked and Gerard frowned at me.
“I don’t mind but why?” Gerard said confused.
“I’ll be back in a couple of hours.” I said and Gerard frowned at me.
“I don’t even know what you want.” Gerard said.
“Surprise me.” I said loudly as I walked to the bedroom and quickly threw some clothes on.
I walked out and Over to Gerard and kissed his cheek which made him jump as he looked at me confused.
“I’ll be back soon, don’t burn the house down.” I said and Gerard rolled his eyes at me and I kip put my shoes off and went out.

I walked back into the house and whatever Gerard had cooked smelt lush.
“Babe where are you.” I said loudly as I kicked my shoes off.
“Kitchen.” Gerard said and I walked to the kitchen where Gerard was just dishing up.
“So did you get what you wanted in town?” Gerard asked as he looked at me.
“I did.” I said as I reached out to help Gerard and he caught hold of my hand and looked at it.
“You’ve got a G tattooed on your finger.” Gerard said as he looked at me.
“Yeah, so that I have a bit of you with me while I’m away.” I said and Gerard smiled at me as he cupped my face and kissed me.
“You’ve got this okay. I know you are strong enough to do this.” I said quietly and Gerard nodded.
“Let’s eat, I’m starving.” I said and Gerard smiled as he went to get the plates but I gently pulled him back.
“Go and sit, I’ll get them and I’ll even clean up.” I said and Gerard lent forward and kissed me which I returned.
I let Gerard go and I let him go and sit down and I just looked at him and I couldn’t help but smile at him.
I got the plates and walked over to the table and sat opposite him.
“You’re gorgeous, has anyone ever told you that?” I said and Gerard looked at me and he looked down.
“I guess I wouldn’t use those sort of words to describe me.” Gerard said quietly.
“Well I do, feel like the luckiest guy in the world to have you.” I said and Gerard looked at with a smile.
“Really?” Gerard asked.
“Really really.” I said and you could see a small blush form on Gerard’s cheeks.
“Eat up, you didn’t slave in the kitchen for this to get cold.” I said and Gerard chuckled as he started to eat his meal.

We was cuddled on the sofa watching something when I ran my hand through Gerard’s hand which made Gerard sigh in contentment which made me smile.
“You like this?” I asked quietly and Gerard nodded as I moved my hand from his hair and down his arm which went over some scar he had and I could feel Gerard tense slightly which made me kiss the back of his head.
“Don’t tense when I touch your scars, they mean nothing to me and as long as you don’t hurt yourself anymore I don’t care about them.” I said quietly and Gerard rolled over to face me.
“You don’t mind them?” Gerard asked quietly.
“Nope, as long as no more get added to this lot then I don’t mind and if you do add more then I won’t be mad, I’ll just give you all the love and support I can give you.” I said and Gerard smiled as he kissed me which I returned.
“When do you leave?” Gerard whispered.
“I leave in the morning. I should be gone for 2 or 3 weeks.” I said quietly and Gerard nodded as he moved and sat on me and I rested my hands on his hips.
“Better give you something to remember me for the next 3 weeks.” Gerard said as he started to rock his hips against me.

I heard my alarm go off and for once in my life I didn’t want to get up.
But Gerard heard my alarm and he sighed loudly as he rolled over to face me.
“I’m not going to miss your alarm.” Gerard mumbled which made me chuckled as I moved closer to him.
“Going to miss waking up next to you in the mornings.” I said quietly and Gerard smiled sleepily.
“I’m going to have a shower.” I whispered and Gerard nodded as he slowly fell asleep since it was 4 in the morning.
I got out of bed and went to have a shower.
Once I was finished I walked back to the bedroom and I smiled when I saw Gerard asleep on my side of the bed and I walked over to the wardrobe and pulled my uniform out and got changed.
Once I got myself sorted and went over to the bed and I lent down and kissed his cheek which made Gerard eyes flutter open.
“I’ve got to go babe.” I said quietly and Gerard smiled sadly.
“I’ll be back before you know it.” I whispered as Gerard moved his head up to reach mine and he kissed me which I returned.
“You look good in uniform.” Gerard mumbled and I smiled as I chuckled softly.
“I see you soon okay. Be good alright.” I whispered.
Gerard was fast asleep when I kissed his forehead.

“I love you.” I whispered and I got up and grabbed my bag and walked out the door and went to where this training was.
