Gerard’s POV
I walked to the part of town I knew really well and I could feel Frank looking around taking it all in and probably judging what was once my lifestyle.
I got to my old patch and I looked around.
“Hey Gee, haven’t seen you around here for a while.” A girl said and I smiled at her as she hugged me.
“Hey Chrissy, finally got myself out of this shithole. Hey have you seen Harry? I need to speak to him.” I said and the girl was looking at Frank and he picked that up and he moved closer to me and put his hand in my back pocket.
“I’ll tell you if you let me have a bit of time with sex on legs you have with you.” Chrissy said and I rolled my eyes.
“He’s gay and he is my fiancé so no you can’t have some time with him. Now can you tell me where Harry is.” I said and Chrissy looked disappointed slightly.
“He’s in his normal spot, I think he’s with someone though but I have no clue.” Chrissy said and I nodded.
“Thanks Chris.” I said as I caught hold of Frank’s hand and walked to Harry’s spot.
I found him with a guy and I rolled my eyes.
“Glad to see you dick still does all the talking.” I said which made Harry and the guy jump at the sound of my voice.
“Dude do you mind?” The guy said.
“No I don’t mind so fuck off.” I said seriously as Harry and the guy both sorted themselves out and the guy went one way and Harry walked over to me.
“You just lost me fifty bucks.” Harry said and I just shrugged my shoulders.
“Right now I don’t fucking care.” I said bluntly and Harry’s eyes landed on Frank.
“You brought me some, you’re too kind Gee.” Harry said and Frank scoffed slightly.
“Please bet your ass and dick are riddled with STDs.” Frank said and Harry frowned as he looked back at me.
“What do you want?” Harry asked.
“Why didn’t you tell me that Mikey decided to join the army.” I said and Harry shrugged his shoulders.
“Because you had disappeared and I thought you was dead so yeah that’s why I never bothered telling you.” Harry said.
“Don’t you give a shit about anything which isn’t your dick!” I said loudly.
“Look your darling brother fucked me over, so he threw me out and bingo I’m back here again being the cheap whore and of my titties on drugs.” Harry said and I rolled my eyes as Frank frowned at Harry.
“Knew he could do better than you.” I said and Harry scoffed as he looked at Frank.
“You know, that boyfriend of yours isn’t all that perfect. He was just as bad as me, in fact he was a lot worse than me.” Harry said and I glared at Harry.
“Why didn’t you stop Mikey joining the army?” I asked.
“Because he is free to do whatever the fuck he wants to do. He got himself clean and ripped as fuck and then he fucked off to the army and there he shell enjoy himself very much with all the pretty boys and maybe even get blow up because I don’t give two shit about him anymore.” Harry said as he turned round and walked off.
I took a deep breath and looked at Frank who was glaring at the back of Harry’s head and I caught hold of his hand.
“Ignore him, he’s always bad when he’s on drugs.” I said softly as we both turned round and walked off and went home.
I walked to the kitchen and grabbed the packet of cigarettes which always sit on the side for when either me or Frank are in a grump or stressing about something and I went outside and smoked the cigarette.
“Babe.” Frank said softly as he stepped outside with me.
“I’m okay, just shocked that Harry was how he was but like I said it was the drugs.” I said quietly and Frank kissed the side of my head which made me smile.
“Are you going to keep an eye on him for me?” I asked as I looked at Frank.
“Michael is a big boy now and he can look after himself. But I’ll keep an eye on him okay.” Frank said and I nodded as I looked down.
“Hey whatever twatface said about you I don’t care. I still love you just as much as the first day we got together.” Frank said and I looked at him and smiled as I lent over and kissed him which Frank returned and I moved and sat on his lap as I deepened the kiss.
“Take this inside?” Frank asked and I nodded as I got off Frank and helped him to stand as Frank dragged me inside which made me giggle as we reconnected our lips together as we found our way to the sitting room where we both collapsed on to the sofa and worked on taking each other’s clothes off.

“Why do I have to wear this?” I said as I put my suit trousers on.
“Because it’s a formal dinner, can’t be wearing civilian clothes to those.” Frank said as he got dressed and I just started at him.
“But why do I have to go?” I asked hoping to get out of this but I knew that I wasn’t going to get out of this.
“Because you are so suck it up and put a smile on your face.” Frank said and I chuckled as I carried on getting ready.
Once I was ready I walked to the sitting room where Frank was just finishing sorting himself out and I just stood by the door and stared at him.
“You need to wear that uniform more often.” I said as Frank turned round and looked me up and down.
“Can say the same for you.” Frank said and he walked over and sorted my bow tie out for me and he smiled at me as he kissed me.
“There, perfect.” Frank said quietly and I smiled.
“Let’s get going.” Frank said quietly as we both walked out the house hand in hand and got in the car and went to this dinner.
We got to where we needed to be and already I felt out of place.
“Just Relax Baby, everything is going to be okay.” Frank said as he put his hand on my knee which made me look at him.
“Not that I don’t love you and all that because I do and I’m not ashamed of what we are, but are there other gay couples coming tonight?” I asked and Frank smiled softly at me as he got out the car and walked round so I just watched as he opened my door and offered me his hand which I took and Frank helped me out the car and he shut my door and locked the car as he pulled me close to him as he kissed me.
“There are others who are gay and show it like us and there are others who are gay who hide it. There maybe other gay couples there may not be. But don’t let that ruin tonight.” Frank said and I nodded as I looked down and I caught a glimpse of my engagement ring which made me smile.
“Also there will be lots of drinking, if it makes you uncomfortable then just say.” Frank said and I smiled at him.
“I’ll be okay. The drugs are more my go too.” I said and Frank smiled as he kissed me and he caught hold of my hand and we went inside.
The one thing I learnt since being with Frank is that army people are loud and really enjoy their alcohol and wouldn’t say no to a fight.
I was sticking close to Frank when my eyes scanned over the room and I spotted someone who I knew really well.
“I be back in a second.” I said to Frank and he looked at me and nodded and went back to chatting as I walked over to the person.
“Mikey?” I said and the man stopped chatting and he looked at me and smiled as he excused himself and we went outside.
“Gee is that you?” Mikey asked and I nodded.
“Yeah it’s me Mikes.” I whispered as Mikey pulled me into a hug which I returned and we held each other tightly.
“I missed you so much.” Mikey said and I smiled sadly as I looked at him and I couldn’t believe it was my brother standing in front of me.
“Why are you here? You’re in civilian clothes meaning your not in the army.” Mikey said and he looked at my hand and he smiled at me.
“Gee you’re married?” Mikey asked almost sounding sad that he missed it.
“No, not married. But I am engaged and my fiancé is a army person so yeah I’ve been dragged to this.” I said and Mikey chuckled as he looked at me.
“So I didn’t miss the wedding?” Mikey asked and I shook my head.
“Nope, and now that I’ve found you again you aren’t going anywhere okay.” I said my big brother role of being protective showing which made Mikey chuckle.
“Think it’s always been the other way around.” Mikey said and I smiled.
“I’m sorry I stopped looking for you.” Mikey said as he looked down.
“You don’t have to say sorry to me. The last year I’ve been with Frank and yeah things have been tough but I’ve had Frank beside me and I’ve never been happier.” I said and Mikey smiled at me.
“I left Harry.” Mikey said and I smiled as I sat on the floor where Mickey joined me as I started to smoke a cigarette.
“I know you did, Frank told me that he found you on his file and I went to find Harry to ask him what the hell he was doing letting you join the army.” I said and Mickey looked down as he took a cigarette out the packet and started to smoke it.
“I couldn’t stay with him Gee, the drugs was getting out of control and I wanted my life back while I was still young enough to get my life back. Anyway I knew he was still selling himself on the streets and I didn’t want that in a person.” Mikey said and I smiled at him.
“Iero? Your fiancé is called Frank Iero isn’t he?” Mikey asked and I nodded.
“Yeah he is my fiancé, you have a problem with that?” I asked and Mikey shook his head.
“Nope, I mean if he wasn’t taken and he wasn’t my boss then I would do him and I know the girls eyeball him a lot as well because that guy is hot.” Mikey said and I chuckled quietly as I flicked my cigarette away.
“And that is all mine.” I said and Mikey chuckled as he looked down.
“How was mum and dad when you left?” I asked and Mikey sighed as he looked away from me which wasn’t good.
“When you left things got pretty bad. I mean I came out thinking they might be more accepting with me, but they weren’t and they said I either hide that I was gay and that I brought a nice girl home with me or I go on the streets and look for you and that’s what I did. Part from I didn’t find you and I got myself into a load of shit.” Mikey said as he looked out to the field in front of us.
“Well we’ve found each other now and I’m not going anywhere now I’ve found you again.” I said and Mikey looked at me and smiled.
“I know, it’s the same here Gee.” Mikey said quietly and I smiled.
“Anyway, I better get going otherwise the guys will think me and you was up to something. I have leave coming up in a couple of weeks so I’ll see you then.” Mikey said as he stood up and looked at me.
“I’d like that.” I said and Mikey smiled as he walked off and I sighed to myself as I smoked another cigarette.
I must of been outside longer than what I should of been as Frank came out looking for me.
“So this is where you hide?” Frank said and you could tell he had been drinking.
“Sorry, me and Mikes got talking and then I just wanted some space I guess.” I said as Frank sat down next to me and helped himself to a cigarette.
“That’s fine, just missed having you near by and also food is out in about half an hour and I guessed you’d still be out here when I saw Mikey come in and you weren’t there either.” Frank said and I smiled as I rested my head on his shoulder.
“Do you think Mikey will make the cut to join the army or isn’t good enough for it.” I said quietly and Frank chuckled quietly to himself.
“He’ll make it, He’s a good team player and he’s willing to listen to what is being said and he has adapted to army life well Gee.” Frank said and I smiled to myself as I looked down and felt proud off Mikey and at the same time felt shitty about myself.
“I know that face, what’s the matter?” Frank said and I looked at him.
“Mikey has done so much and is doing well for himself and then there’s me a fucking failure.” I said and Frank pulled my face round and kissed me which I returned.
“You’re not a failure, you just have to find your feet after what has happened to you.” Frank said and he stood up which made me looked at him.
“Now, I didn’t bring you here for you to hide away from everyone. I know that we’re scary and all of that but get a few drinks in us and we’re a lovely bunch.” Frank said and I couldn’t help but chuckle as I stood up.
“Think being a room full of grown men who could easily take everyone one out if they wanted to is enough to put anyone on edge.” I said as I stood close to Frank who pulled me close to him.
“Don’t worry princess, I’ll look after you.” Frank said as he kissed me which I returned.
“Promise me you won’t drink too much.” I said as I kissed Frank again.
“Well I can’t promise nothing.” Frank said and I smiled as Frank caught hold of my hand and we went inside.
It was safe to say Frank got really drunk and it kind of put me on edge a little as this was a side of Frank I didn’t know as well as sober Frank.
“Babe lets get you out of this.” I said as Frank collapsed onto my side of the bed.
“I’m fine.” Frank mumbled drunkenly which made me rolled my eyes.
“But this is your best suit, don’t want to get it ruined.” I said as Frank sighed loudly as he pushed himself up and looked at himself as he tried to undo the buttons which he couldn’t manage.
“Here, let me do this.” I said softly as I started to undo the buttons as I felt Frank watching me.
“I’m sorry.” Frank said and I looked at him and smiled.
“Don’t be okay, we all get a little drunk sometimes.” I said as I gently pushed the jacket of Frank’s shoulder and then helped him out of his shirt.
“But I promised I wouldn’t get too drunk.” Frank said and I chuckled softly as I kissed his forehead.
“I don’t care okay, now stand up so I can take your trousers off.” I said and Frank stood up and used my shoulders for support as I undone his trousers and pushed them down his legs and I let Frank sit back on the bed and he just collapsed and curled up in a ball.
“You going to be sick?” I asked as I pulled the covers over him.
“Just put a bowl there Incase.” Frank mumbled and after that he just passed out.
I smiled as I got up and folded Frank’s suit and I got myself out of my suit until I was in my pants and I walked to the kitchen and grabbed the puke bowl and went back to the bedroom and I put the bowl on the floor and I looked at Frank who was snoring very loudly which made me roll my eyes.
“That’s me on the sofa tonight then.” I said as I went to walk out and I turned round and looked at Frank and despite him snoring very loudly I couldn’t help but walk round to his side of the bed and I climbed into bed which made Frank snort loudly and he sighed loudly.
