I BEG OF YOU LET ME SPEAK BEFORE YOU COMMENT "IF YOU DON'T LIKE FANFICS THEN WHY TF ARE YOU EVEN HERE???!!!"
Fanfiction of real-life people needs to be treated with care.
I get really irritated when I see people commenting on celebrities social media with-
"OMFG HAVE YOU READ THIS FANFIC???????"
Um, it's extremely uncomfortable. I can't imagine how they must feel knowing that they are being written about in strange fashions. ESPECIALLY WHEN SHIPS ARE MENTIONED!
Like Frerard. Not gonna lie, I ship it like crazy. OTP material there. But that is to stay within the fandom, not blasted on Frank or Gerard's social media. Don't tag them in Frerard related postings or anything. Especially when you think about the fact that both of these men have families now.
I'm getting off track, I know, but it kinda comes together in a way. Fanfictions are for the fans to release their imagination, not to push it on the celebrities in question. It is disrespectful and just plain weird at times. I'm sure they are flattered a little bit knowing that we love them enough to write about them, but they are probably mostly uncomfortable with the idea.
Keep in mind that I am not shaming anyone who writes fanfiction. I write fanfiction on this website {shameless self promo}, and that is okay. Just don't bug the people they're about to read them or even acknowledge them. Please?

I legit made an account on here just to applaud you for this. I came across it on Tumblr and after giving it a read I had to tell you that you are damn right. F*cking bang on.
