Gerard’s POV

I was sat at the hill with Frank wondering around the woods behind me.
”You need to learn how to climb a tree.” Frank said and I lead on my back and looked at him as he hung upside down from this branch.
”I don’t feel like breaking my neck thanks.” I said and Frank pouted at me.
”You won’t break your neck, I’ll protect you.” Frank said and he got down from the tree and he sat on me.
“Remember Mikes saying that to me once and I fell out the tree and broke my arm.” I said and Frank laughed and he kissed me which I returned.
“It’s not funny, my arm was in a cast for 6 weeks.” I said.
”Aw poor baby.” Frank said quietly and lent down and kissed me.
”Baby you need to go back to school.” Frank said quietly as he looked at me.
”I can’t go back.“ I whispered.
”Why not?” Frank asked and I looked at him.
”People look at me funny, especially if I have my sleeves rolled up and my scars are showing or changing for sports everyone looks at me . They call me a freak and if I’m having a flash back they just laugh at me. I’m better off not going back. I have other things I can do to make a living. I don’t have to have school.” I said and Frank smiled sadly at me.
“But You’ve got me to protect you.” Frank said and I smiled and pulled his head down and kissed him.
“I know but I made my mind up with not going to school. Please respect it Frank.” I said and Frank just smiled at me which I returned.
“I’ve just realized I’m lead in mud.” I said and Frank chuckled and he got off me and helped me up and spurned me round to look at how bad the mess was.
“Babe your gonna need to change your clothes before we go anywhere.” Frank said and I groaned loudly which made Frank chuckle.
“But the effort.” I said and Frank smiled and kissed me which I returned.
“Let’s get going and sort yourself out.” Frank said and he caught hold of my hand and we walked back to the site.

When we got back there was someone wondering around which wasn’t one of the guys from the camp. Which got Frank on edge straight away.
“Oi you what the fuck you doing on the site.” Frank said as we walked over and the person turned round and I stopped walking which made Frank Stop and look at me.
“You okay babe?” Frank asked and the person just looked at me.
“What the fuck are you doing here Michael?” I said as I walked towards my brother.
“Gee, let me explain.” Mikey said and I walked over and punched him round the face.
“No! You are not walking back into my life again only to walk back out of it again when things don’t go your way.” I said loudly and Mikey looked at me nursing his face and it was only then I noticed another boy with Mikey.
“Don’t you fucking dare lay a hand on him.” The boy said and stepped inside my personal space.
“Bren don’t I had it coming.” Mikey said but the boy didn’t listen and the next thing I knew I felt his fist come into contact with my face.
“What the fuck do you think you’re playing at Brendon!” Mikey said loudly as he pulled the boy back away from me and Frank was by my side checking me over.
“You okay babe?” Frank asked softly and I nodded as I nursed my face and looked at Frank.
“I’m fine.” I said quietly and Frank turned round and made his way over to the boy with Mikey and punched him hard round the face and I got up quickly and pulled Frank away and stood in front of Frank who still had his fist raised.
“Frank, Frank Stop. He’s not worth beating the shit out off.” I said softly and Frank lowered his fist but he was still staring at the boy.
“He’s not laying another fucking finger on you.” Frank growled.
“He knows that now. Go and cool off.” I said quietly which made Frank look at me.
“I’m not leaving you with them.” Frank said seriously.
“That’s fine with me but you don’t let your fist do the talking, your mouth does the talking not the fists.” I said and Frank nodded and I turned my attention back to Mikey and the boy.

“Why the fuck are you here? Mum and dad will be worried sick about you.” I said as I pulled Frank behind me as I didn’t exactly trust him not to do anything.
“Mum and dad know I’m here. They want me to take you home.” Mikey said and I grabbed hold of Frank’s hand.
“I’m going no where. This is my home and it has been for the last 4 months. What makes them think I’m going to go back with you. I have my family here, you and Mum and dad aren’t my family.” I said and I could see the hurt in Mikey’s face.
“Gee, please Mum is worried sick about you.” Mikey said.
“If she has been that worried then why hasn’t she phone him? He still has the same number so she could just call him to ask him how he has been.” Frank said as he moved and stood beside me letting go of my hand.
“Well it’s not as if your the nicest person going.” Mikey said and Frank moved forward but I put my hand on his arm which stopped Frank from moving.
“Want to fucking say that again? Do you want another punch?” Frank challenged.
“How the fuck did you end up with a person like him Gerard? You have fucking brains and you could of found someone a lot better.” Mikey said.
“I can say exactly the same about your lover boy.” I growled and glared at the boy.
“At least I’m no pikey.” The boy said and I moved forward and punched the boy hard again and Frank pulled me back.
“Have I stolen from you? Have my people stolen for you? No they fucking haven’t so don’t you dare call me that again otherwise I won’t hold Gerard back anymore.” Frank said seriously.
“What is going on here?” Frank’s dad said.
“The gorgers are trespassing, we tried telling them to leave but the won’t listen. The lanky bastard with the dark hair punched Gee.” Frank said knowing full well that his dad will get Mikey and the boy of the site.
“You need to leave and you are not welcomed back here again.” Frank’s dad said seriously and Jamie showed up along with Freddie.
“Do you need asking again?” Freddie asked and stepped forward.
“Let’s go Mikes.” The boy said and they both walked off with Mikey looked behind at me but I just ignored him and turned round.

“The fuck was that all about?” Jamie asked and looked at me and Frank.
“My brother wanting to take me back to my parents.” I said as I walked off.
“What happened to your back?” Fred asked.
“Frank pushed me into the mud.” I said as I stopped and turned round.
“Did not.” Frank said and I frowned at him.
“Yeah you did.” I said as I walked over and kissed Frank.
“Get a room.” Jamie said and I stuck my middle finger up at him and I pulled back and looked behind Frank and saw Mikey and the boy watching.
“Fucking gorgers.” Jamie said and Frank looked behind us.
“Leave it to me.” I said and I walked off and Frank caught hold of my hand and I stopped and looked at him.
“I don’t want you going on your own.” Frank said.
“I’m not taking you, Christ you would punch the pair of them if I took you. Jamie you up for coming with?” I said and Jamie looked at me shocked.
“Maybe you should take Frank.” Jamie said.
“He needs to cool off.” I said and Jamie sighed and looked at Frank.
“I don’t like it but it’s Gee choice at the end of the day.” Frank said and I smiled at Frank.
“I’m sure Jamie will look after me.” I said and kissed Frank and walked off with Jamie following me.

I got to Mikey and the boy.
“Follow me.” I said as I walked past them and they followed me.
“Keep an eye on the boy, I can manage my brother.” I said to Jamie quietly.
“You sure about this?” Jamie asked.
“Yes. Mikey won’t hurt a fly but with that boy around he’s different so if I can get Mikes away from the boy then hopefully he’ll be fine.” I said and come to a sudden stop which took everyone by surprise.
“You, come with me.” I said to Mikey and he nodded and walked over to me but the boy thought he was coming to So Jamie stood between the boy and me and Mikes.
“Not you sunshine. You are staying with me.” Jamie said.
“Don’t trust the red head.” The boy said.
“I’m not going to hurt my brother.” I said.
“How can I believe that when you punched him round the face and me as well.” The boy said.
“Bren, you did have it coming. Stay here and let me talk to Gee.” Mikey said.
“Trust you to take his side, after all the bad mouthing you did about him.” The boy said and Mikey just looked at him.
“Shut your trap and stay here with him.” Mikey said and he turned round and looked at me.
“Lead the way.” Mikey said and I walked off with Mikey following.

I sat down on the floor ignoring the fact my clothes was still damp from earlier and Mikey followed my lead.
“So What have you been saying about me then?” I asked and Mikey sighed as he looked down.
“I was hurt Gee, after what that asshole did to you he changed you. Then you went running back to him. It hurt so much that you chose him over me that I actually hated you for a while.” Mikey said.
“I didn’t go running back to him, he kidnapped me.” I said seriously and Mikey looked at me and he had that sorry look on his face.
“Gee, I didn’t know.” Mikey said quietly.
“And then you did the unthinkable and just disowned me. Both you and dad both turned around and said I was no part of the family anymore. I had to move to the other side of the country because everyone knew me. My own family couldn’t fucking support me through the hell I had been through.” I said and looked at Mikey.
“You fucking hated me for something which was out of my control. I would never of fucking done that to you. I would off fucking support you, I would of been your fucking shoulder to cry on, and you? You just fucking threw me away like trash, just like what he did once he had finished his sick little games.” I said and stood while Mikey stood up as well but he looked down.
“Gee..” Mikey started but I glared at him which made Mikey Stop.
“You fucking broke my heart when you decided to hate me and I might never forgive you for that.” I said quietly and I went to walk off but Mikey caught hold of my hand which made me spin round and slap him across the face.
“Don’t fucking touch me.” I growled.
“I want to fix this Gee.” Mikey said as he nursed his face as he looked at me.
“I don’t. I want you too feel exactly how I felt. What it feels like to know your own brother hates you. I want you to know what I feels like when you want a shoulder to cry on and nobody is there because I sense you relationship with pretty boy over there is far from Rosie.” I said seriously.
“Please Gee, I want my big brother back. I want us to be like how we was when we was little, before that bastard took you away. Yeah Brendon is a cunt but I fucking love him, like how he loves me.” Mikey said.
“I am not that person anymore. I have changed and everyone can see that.” I said and looked at Mikey for the first time.
“You’re better off without me Mikes. I am not the person you want me to be, the person you want me to be is no longer around.” I said and Mikey looked at me with tears in his eyes.
“I’m not better off without you Gee, I miss you so much. I miss you everyday, I miss you If I have a problem I can come to you and talk to you and to give me advice. I miss your sarcasm and your sassy way. It sounds creepy and disgusting but I miss If I have a bad dream or having a bad night going to your room and climbing into your bed and having you there, knowing that you would keep me safe. I miss everything about you Gee.” Mikey said but towards the end he was crying.
“That’s What the boyfriend is for.” I said.
“But it’s not the same as you. I can’t exactly talk to Bren about our sex life, especially if he wants to do something I’m not comfortable with.” Mikey said.
“That’s when you tell him no and actually mean that no.” I said.
“It’s not that simple Gee.” Mikey said quietly and he sat down and I did the same only
because I couldn’t be bothered to stand.
“Sure it is, you say no and if he doesn’t respect it and do it you can get him done for it.” I said and Mikey sighed as he looked down.
“Or if you want to do it but still unsure about it then use Colours, that’s what me and Frank do anyway.” I said and Mikey looked at me.
“You know red if you really don’t want to do it, Orange if you want to try it but unsure about it and Green for they can knock themselves out and give you a good time.” I said and Mikey smiled.
“There you go, your sex Life crisis has now been fixed.” I said and Mikey chuckled.

“Can we just talk, and see where it goes from there? I miss talking to you so much.” Mikey said and I looked at him and sighed loudly.
“Fine, we can start talking again. But I don’t want to leave, I’m happy here with Frank and his family and they feel more like family to me than what my own family do.” I said and Mikey smiled and launched himself at me and I ended up on my back with Mikey on top of me hugging me the best he could.
“I won’t let you down Gee, I promise.” Mikey said quietly as I returned his hug.
“If you don’t keep that promise, we are done Mikes.” I said seriously as Mikey pulled back to allow me to sit up.
“Okay.” Mickey said quietly and I smiled and pulled him into a hug.
“I’ve missed you too Mikes, I’m sorry for the punch and slap round the face.” I said and Mikey chuckled.
“It’s fine, I was more worried about Frank punching me, glad that Bren got his punches.” Mikey said and I couldn’t help but chuckle.
“Such a nice way to use your boyfriend.” I said.
“Can say exactly the same about Frank.” Mikey said.
“Trust me if I wasn’t holding Frank back and if Frank wasn’t listening to me then your boyfriend would be on his way to hospital. I wouldn’t exactly trust Jamie with him.” I said and I let go of Mikey and looked over to where Jamie and the boy was and Jamie looked like he was about to lose his cool with the boy.
“Bren can be a prick sometimes but I somehow love him.” Mikey said and I looked at Mikey with a smile.
“I’m glad he makes you happy, I think we need to get back as I think Jamie is about ready to punch your boyfriends lights out.” I said and Mikey chuckled and we both got up and walked over to Jamie and the boy.
“How the fuck do you put up with him, I am ready to punch his posh boy lights out.” Jamie said and Mikey chuckled and walked over to the boy and pecked him on the lips and stood close to the lanky boy.
“He gets some getting used to.” Mikey said as he looked up at the boy resting his hand on his chest.
I smiled and felt a pair of arms wrapping round me which made me jump and the person kissed my cheek.
“You’ll give yourself a heart attack one day.” Frank said as I spun myself round.
“Maybe you should stop sneaking up on me.” I said and poked his chest which made Frank chuckle and he looked at Mikey and the boy.
“I’m not saying sorry for what I did.” Frank said and Mikey chuckled.
“It’s fine, he needs to be put in his place sometimes.” Mikey said and the boy just glared at Frank.
“We need to get going.” Frank said as he let go of me and I nodded and turned to Mikey who was walking over to me and pulled me into a hug.
“I’m glad we’re talking again and that Frank makes you happy.” Mikey said quietly.
“So am I, still don’t like the look of your boyfriend though.” I said quietly back and Mikey pulled back and looked at me.
“He’s really not that bad.” Mikey said and I rolled my eyes and looked at the boy.
“If I hear you have hurt him in anyway way I will hurt you back just as bad.” I said seriously as I stepped back towards Frank.
“Which I won’t do, he’s literally the best thing which has happened to me.” The boy said and looked at Mikey with a loving smile which Mikey returned.
“I’m just warning you.” I said and we said our goodbyes and me, Frank and Jamie headed back to the site.

I walked in the bedroom and climbed onto the bed and collapsed on Frank who just wrapped his arms round me and he started to mess with my hair as I buried my face into his chest.
“You okay baby?” Frank asked and I nodded and looked up at him and Frank moved his hand and gently touched the bruise on my face.
“I’m fine.” I said quietly and Frank smiled at me.
“So What was the outcome of you and Mikey then?” Frank asked as I rolled off him and cuddled into his side.
“We’re talking But I said if he fucks up then I won’t talk to him again and I won’t nothing to do with him. Which thinking back now sounds really harsh.” I said.
“It’s not harsh, you say those things to stop yourself from getting hurt.” Frank said and I sighed loudly.
“Just hope I made the right choice.” I said quietly and Frank kissed the top of my head which made me smile.
“I’m sure you did.” Frank said.
“You going to talk to your parents?” Frank asked which made me sigh again.
“I want nothing to do with my dad, he pretty much said it was my fault why those things happened and that I deserved to get raped. I can’t forgive or forget those words he said. I don’t know about Mum as she’s been right beside me every step of the way but she just left me when I needed her and like with dad I don’t know if I can forgive her for that.” I said and Frank chuckled.
“Sounds like you have a lot to thinking to do.” Frank said and I yawned loudly as I pulled the covers over me and Frank.
“I don’t want to think right now, just sleep.” I said feeling my eyes getting heavy.
“Okay baby, I’ll see you in the morning and I love you so much.” Frank said and I just smiled as I looked at him.

“I love you too.” I whispered and kissed Frank which he returned and I got myself comfy and settled down for the night.
