Gerard's POV

"Okay you'll be on afternoon and early evening shift, is that okay?" Austin said and I nodded.
"Yeah that's fine with me. Is there anything I need to know?" I asked and Austin smiled.
"You are not allowed to leave behind the bar. You will also be working with Frank if that is okay with you." Austin said and I again nodded.
"Yeah that's fine with me. Is what I'm wearing okay? Frank said that bar staff wear shirts and jeans." I said and looked down at what I was wearing.
"What you are wearing is fine Gerard. Now go and start with your shift, afternoons are normally quiet and then it gets busy as the evening gets going but I'm not pushing you to that stage yet. We'll take this at your pace." Austin said and I smiled.
"Thank you for giving me this job and everything. I just hope that I can show you that I do fit in here." I said and Austin chuckled.
"I'm sure you'll do fine here Gerard, now go and start your shift." Austin said and I nodded and went off downstairs to the bar.

"Hey there gorgeous." Frank said and I smiled as I climbed over the bar because walking all the way to the other end of the bar was too much of an effort.
"Well hey there." I said as Frank pulled me close to him and kissed me which I returned.
"Christ Frank can't you put your boy toy down for 5 minutes and give a hard worker a drink?" A girl asked amd Frank's hands ran down my sides and he slapped my ass and he walked off to get the girl a drink.
"Your new, what's your name?" The girl said.
"I'm Gerard, yeah I'm new here but not in the business." I said and the girl looked at me shocked.
"I'm Jessy." The girl said and put her hand out and I shook it.
"So you and Frank?" Jessy asked.
" He's my boyfriend." Frank said and gave Jessy her drink.
"He looks like he should be still in school." Jessy said.
"So do you." I said a loud since it was meant to be a thought.
Frank and Jessy just looked at me.
"I'm 25 thank you very much, you look like your 19." Jessy said.
"I'm sorry I wasn't meant to offend you. But I'm 21." I said and Jessy nearly choked on her drink.
"Sweetie what you doing working here? You don't belong in places like this." Jessy said.
"Jess, don't push the subject." Frank said seriously and Jessy nodded.
"I'll be seeing you guys later then." Jessy said and she walked off and I just looked at her ridiculously short dress and really high heels.
"Christ don't tell me your actually straight." Frank said and I looked at him.
"I'm very gay and I've only worked in a gay club, I've never seen a woman wear a dress that short or heels that high." I said and Frank chuckled.
"Have to give it to Jess, she's got a fine ass on her. But she's Austin's other half so she's off limits." Frank said and I frowned at him.
"If she was my other half I would want to keep her out of here." I said as I started to put glasses away.
"Austin met Jess here. I believe they had the same disagreements as we did." Frank said and I just looked at him.
"Love you." Frank said and I couldn't help but smile.
"Love you too." I said and I carried on with what I was doing and Frank walked past me and slapped my ass again which made me look at him which he rewarded me with a devilish grin which I loved.

"So you like a vampire or something?" A customer asked as I got them a drink.
"No, I'm just really pale. That doesn't make me a vampire." I said and gave the customer their drink.
"So are you allowed out from behind the bar? You look like the type of guy who could give a good lap dance or something else." The customer said and had some of their drink.
"I'm not allowed out from behind the bar. A lap dance is something I can happily give you once I am free from my bar duties." I said and I could feel Franks eyes burning into me.
"I'll be looking out for you." The customer said and he walked off.
I walked over and stood by Frank.
"If you don't want me interacting with the customers then you might as well put me on toilet duties." I said and Frank looked at me.
"I'm just saying because I could literally feel your eyes burning holes into my vampire looking skin." I said and Frank chuckled.
"Surpised you didn't end up as ash on the floor." Frank said and I turned round and slapped his chest.
"Bastard." I chuckled and Frank smiled.
I was going to say something when Austin showed up.
"How's everything going?" Austin asked.
"Gee has already been hit on by Rupert." Frank said and I looked at him.
"You know him and you didn't say anything, your a asshole." I said and Frank and Austin both chuckled.
"Rupert is harmless, a bit odd but if he give you too much trouble then just tell him that if he doesn't back off then Wes will throw him out, that normally gets him to back off." Austin said.
"And you're just telling me this now?" I asked sarcastically.
"You have a sassy side, well you'll definitely fit in this place." Austin said and I just rolled my eyes.
"Right both your shifts are now over. So you both can go home and have a good night." Austin said and I smiled and climbed over the bar and sat next to Austin.
"You can just walk and leave the bar that way." Frank said and pointed to the end of the bar.
"And where would the fun be in that." I said and Austin chuckled.
"Got your hands full with him Frank." Austin said.
"Na, give him sex and he's soon a begging, moaning mess." Frank said and looked at me seriously.
"Rich coming from you." I said and Frank just stuck his middle finger up at me.
"I don't need to know about your sex life thanks." Austin said and I didn't even see Frank leave the bar until I felt Franks arm go round my waist.
"You love it really." Frank said.
"I also want your hickies covered up, the pair of you. Especially you Gerard since you are abnormally pale." Austin said and I put my hand to my neck and elbowed Frank in his stomach which made him grunt.
"Not my fault I look like a fucking vampire." I muttered and looked down.
"I'll leave you two to it." Austin said and he walked off and took his place behind the bar.
"Now I'm craving a take out, shit films and cuddles." Frank said and I spun myself round so Frank was standing between my legs.
"As long as it's not one of those horror films." I said and Frank pouted.
"Am I going to suffer watching chick flicks?" Frank asked and I smiled.
"Maybe." I said and kissed him and Frank stood back and we walked out the club hand in hand.

I had my head on Frank's lap as he ran his fingers through my hair as we watched a film feeling stuffed from the take out we had.
"What happened to your parents?" Frank asked and I looked at him.
"Why you so intrigued in my dead beat parents?" I asked.
"Because you never talk about them, it's like they never existed." Frank said.
"My parents disowned me and Mike's. We both came home from school with a note taped to the fridge saying they had both fucked off somewhere leaving me too look after Mikey. I managed for a year but I had run out of money so I went and started to work for Quinn. I kept it a secret for 3 months but Mike's followed me to Quinn's and so that's how we both ended up living there for the next four shitty years of our lives." I said and looked down.

"What did Quinn make you do?" Frank asked and I looked at him.
"Do we seriously need to have this conversation?" I asked and looked at him.
"Yes, I want to know so then I won't do anything to make you uncomfortable." Frank said and I couldn't help but smile and reached up and put my hand behind his head and pulled his head down and kissed him.
"You don't make me uncomfortable, I feel safe when I'm with you. I feel like I have someone who is willing to protect me and Mikey when we need protecting." I said quietly and messed with Frank's hair which made him smile.
"I just want to know that all." Frank said quietly.
"Quinn was a lot worse before he got with his husband. He um." I said and took a deep breath and moved my hand from the back of Frank's head.
"He used to use me for sexual needs and I wasn't allowed to say no otherwise he would of thrown me and Mikey out. He also made me go out on the streets and sell myself. H..He used to say if it wasn't me, then he would force Mikey to do things and hold him at knifepoint while he r..r..raped him and I couldn't let my little brother go through the horrors I had to go through so I had to do it." I said feeling tears in my eyes.
"I wanted to get out of there, but I couldn't. Quinn owned me and I had no way of escaping it because I had no money." I said and sat up keeping my back to Frank.
"I don't want to go back to how life was before. I don't want to go to bed in fear of someone walking into the room and forcing themselves inside of me. I would have to relapse and I would have to kill myself if that ever happened again." I said quietly and felt tears roll down my cheeks.
"Relapse in what Gee?" Frank asked seriously and I looked at him.
"I had to do something to numb the pain and emptiness inside of me." I sobbed and Frank moved and pulled me onto his lap and he start to mess with my hair as he learnt this was a way to calm me down.
"You don't have to tell me, but I do want you to tell me as soon as you aren't coping with anything. You can trust me and I have the money to be able to support you through any help you need." Frank said and he kissed the top of my head.
"I..I..I used to take drugs." I whispered and Frank held me tighter to his chest.
"Shush, no more okay. You don't have to tell me anymore." Frank said quietly and I nodded and hid my face in his chest as I cried.

Once I calmed down Frank stood up and carried me to the bathroom where he sat me on the toilet and I watched him run the bath putting bubbles in it and lighting the candles we had in the bathroom which made me smile a little.
Frank walked back over and ran his finger over my cheeks and like normal I looked down when he touched my scar on my cheek.
"Baby look at me." Frank said softly and I looked at him.
"Don't be ashamed of your scar, see it as a battle scar. You managed to escape from the bastard. You don't have to be ashamed by it." Frank said quietly.
"All I see when I looked at it is him." I whispered.
Frank kissed down my scar.
"You are beautiful." Frank said and I looked at him.
Frank smiled and he kissed me before he turned round and turned the hot tap off and started to put cold water in the bath.
Frank turned round and he took his top off and I just stared at him taking him in.
Frank walked over and stood between my legs.
"Arms up." Frank said and I smiled and lifted my arms up and Frank took my top off for me while I took his jeans and pants off.
Frank helped me up and he helped me out of my jeans and pants.
"Want me to get in the bath with you?" Frank asked and I nodded and Frank walked over to the bath and climbed and he just looked at me.
"I have a spot between my legs reversed for you." Frank said and I smiled and walked over and climbed into the bath and I lent back on Frank's chest and he wrapped his arms round my neck and he kissed my cheek.
"I love you Gee." Frank said quietly.

"I love you too." I said quietly and messed with the bubbles in the bath.
