From past to present and hopefully future

Frank's POV:

To my surprise, Gee already had the wedding planned all we had to do was call the person who was going to marry us (A/N I can't remember the name of that dude.). We are going to make the cake ourselves and we only are inviting family and a few common friends. My mom is coming, Gee's parents are coming, his brother and his boyfriend are coming, our old friend Bob is coming, his friend Patrick is coming, my friend Pete is coming and ironically him and Patrick are dating, Josh and Tyler are coming, and our daughters are coming. It's a small list but it's everyone that we could want. We chose the date to be as soon as the end of the week. Which is now tomorrow. Everyone is coming, the guy is accepted on such short notice which we are happy for, we have the cake made, Lily is my 'best man' and Bandit is Gee's 'best man', we have our suits and rings and everything is going along perfectly.

The wedding is today. Gee and I walk into our venue, which is the park that he beautiful decorated. He even based it off of one of my favourite scenes from one of his comics. We walk in arm in arm and hand in hand with our daughters. Bandit beside him and Lily beside me. Everyone turns to us and watches us. The ceremony doesn't start until later. My mom runs up to us and kisses our heads. She has to pull Gerard to her because of her hight, which I find utterly adorable.

"Oh my god. This is amazing. Even though it was only last year you two started dating, I knew you were perfect for each other. If you do any of that shit again to Gerard though I'll have to beat you Frank. You found yourself an amazing keeper." She says to us. I smile and lean into my soon to be husband.

"Don't worry ma. I could never do anything like that to my love again. I can't believe I'm marrying my high school crush." I say. Gee giggles and kisses my head. Our daughters give us confused looks but we just shake it off. Then Gee's parents come up to us.

"So Gerard, introduce us. We never met him in person. It's good to see you are so happy since that Frank kid." His mom says. I tense up a bit but Gee's kisses make it better.

"Hey Lily, Bandit. Go play with Uncle Mikey and his boyfriend for a bit okay?" He says and they nod. They run off to his brother who has a few unicorn play toys around him. I smile. "Mom, Dad. This is my soon to be husband Frankie." He says and kisses me again. I smile and he wraps his arm around me.

"As in the Iero kid that beat you up?" His Dad asks. I frown and nod sadly. Gee hushes me and keeps a firm grasp on me.

"That's the past. He's apologized many times and I understand why he did it. He was actually hurting himself more than me when he did. He wasn't treated well and never learned to say I love you. His parents were terrible until he found Linda. He couldn't trust himself after he hurt me. Mikey told you about my suicide attempt last year right? Well Frankie was the one who saved me. He gave me a home, he gave me love and happiness, he refused to even lightly touch me for the first month and a half when I stayed around his. I trust him though. I know he loves me and I love him. We have two daughters and two pets. He helps me write, play music and voice act. Our daughters help me draw, play music and voice act too. He has a beautiful tattoo around his hips that is search and destroy. There are two swallows. One being me from the last year of high school. I'm beside search. He kept up his serch for me to apologize and explain to me why. The other is him. He is beside destroy. He though he destroyed me and he destroyed himself in the process. He made everything up to me and more. I couldn't say I've loved anyone more. Honestly I don't care if he used to bully me because now I get to see the real him and he's amazing. He loving, kind, gentle, careful and he's the sweetest person ever." Gee says. His parents stare at me in shock.

"That means so much to me Gee. Thank you." I say quietly. He smiles and hugs me.

"Anything for my love." He says softly. His parents still staring at us. Gee runs a hand through his newly redyed black hair.

"I'm sorry what I used to do to Gerard, Mr. and Mrs. Way. I was jealous that he was accepted by his family for being gay. I was beaten and abused. Nobody ever taught me how to speak about love or emotion. The only thing I was ever taught to do was beat people up. After I beat up Gerard or saw his attempts at suicide I would always hurt myself more than I would try to hurt him. I've got many many scars. With all my beatings and what my parents called me, I thought I would never have a chance with someone as amazing as Gerard. Sometimes I still think I don't deserve him and I'm so happy and lucky that I got him. I love him more than the world. He is my world, he's my life. After his suicide attempt he still though I'd bully him. I showed him my scars, I even offered him that if he'd like to kill me he could and I wouldn't stop him. I didn't want him to remember me by the bully I used to be. I've always loved him and I always will. The thing that surprised me though, was when a half a month later he asked me if I'd be his boyfriend. I will never stop loving him and I never had. I've had a terrible past but I've fixed all my old ways and I can easily say that I've never been happier. The day I knew I loved Gerard is a day I'll never forget. I'll also never forget the day he asked me to be his boyfriend and the day he asked me to be his husband. I'll never forget the day we visited the adoption centre and adopted our little girl Bandit with our other daughter Lily. I'll never forget that we adopted a Great Dane named Miles and a simease kitty named Cherry. Thank you both for giving birth to the most amazing person I've ever met and I hope you both can look past my past. I was young and stupid I whole heartedly admit. Now isn't the past though and I've done everything to fix the mistakes I've made. I can't say I'm a perfect person, everyone makes mistakes and yes a lot of mine were terrible but as much as I'd like to skip over then I know I have to deal with the consequences. I hope you don't mind me marrying your son because I'm deeply in love with him and I couldn't bear hurting him or losing him again. I've had many people abandon me and he's the only one who's done so much as given a second glance at me. I'll never be able to say sorry, thank you, and I love you, enough to him." I say. Gee is wiping tears from his eyes and looks at me with a thankful smile.

"God do I love you. You don't have to say sorry or thank you. You've said them enough." He says and kisses my forehead. I can't believe I'm about to marry him. All of the sudden we both are being pulled into the Ways arms.

"Welcome to the family son." His Dad says to me. He smiles at me and I smile at him. Today's the day I finally become Way-Iero and I couldn't be happier. We finish talking to his parents and the four of us walk to Mikey and our girls.

"Frank! Gee! Come play with Bandit, Lily and I! Your daughters have amazing taste in unicorns! You have to let their Uncle Mikey take them on a Uncle and nieces day!" He exclaims. All of us laugh. We introduce our daughters to Gee's parents. Then they finally realize that they are grandparents and start to cry.

The ceremony finally starts and Gee and I are standing there. The guy talks but never says our names until the end. We told him to do it like that so that we can surprise the rest of our guests that the bully and the victim are actually in love and are getting married.

"Do you, Frank Anthony Iero take Gerard Arthur Way as your lawfully wedded husband?" He asks. I hear the crowd gasp at our names. I smile and look at Gee.

"I do." I say smiling. Gee smiles back at me. Our hands intertwined.

"Do you, Gerard Arthur Way take Frank Anthony Iero as your lawfully wedded husband?" He asks to Gee. Gee licks his lips the way he always does before he kisses me.

"I do." He says staring in my eyes. We grab the rings and slide them onto each others fingers. They aren't your normal rings but they are perfect none the less.

"You may kiss your husband." The guy finally says. I wrap my arms around Gee's neck and he wraps them around my waist. We pull each other in and place a kiss on each other's lips. It's a long and loving kiss. No tongue, no teeth. Just loving lips on loving lips. Nothing can stop us now.

The ceremony finished and now we are walking around. Both of our parents and Mikey congratulated us again. Pete and Patrick walk up to us.

"I never though that you two would end up together. Never mind getting married. When he said your names I thought it was a prank. But when you both said I do, that's too real to be fake. Congratulations though." Pete says to us. Gee smiles. Pete used to beat Gee up too but apologized at graduation. I however didn't have the balls to.

"Thank you both. Honestly, after he apologized, I couldn't help falling in love. He was a troubled soul and he was so gentle and genuine that I though it was a completely different person. I'm happy we have two kids and he's my husband." Gee says to me. I smile and this exact same conversation happens many times before the wedding ends. Honestly. It's a night I'll never forget.
