From past to present and hopefully future

Gerard's POV:

Its been a year since Frankie and I got together. I'm so happy I forgave him. I love him and I'm ready to make that forever. There have been so many things I've been planning and Lily has been a huge help. With her only being seven she's amazing. Frankie raised her well.

"Lily and I are going to the mall! We will be back soon!" I yell to Frankie. He gives a noise of acknowledgement. He has been working on his guitar. Lily and I have a huge surprise though. Lily and I walk out to my car and we head off to the mall.

"Okay Gee. So my daddy's favourite colours are black and red. Maybe get him something with those colours? You treat him so well. I know he doesn't trust himself. Thank you Gee. Or should I say Daddy Gee. I can't believe you are going to propose! This plan is going to work out great!" Lily says. I smile.

"Okay, so a black and red engagement ring and I need some hair dye. Will you choose a colour for me? Right before I propose to your dad I will do your makeup and hair. We want this plan to play out perfectly." I say and she smiles. I know she loved it when o do her hair and makeup.

We get to the mall and buy what we need. We get the ring, the hair dye, the makeup(I just ran out), I get Lily a nice punky looking dress which she loves, and get her some nice shoes. We leave the mall and I go and dye my hair. Lily gives me the sign that she loves it. I get dressed in my skinny jeans, band shirt, leather jacket and rocker boots. I put some eyeliner on and I'm done. Lily dresses up in the outfit I bought her and I do her makeup. I put her hair in a beautiful curly bun. She slides the ring in the pocket of her dress and we go pay a visit to Frankie's guitar room.

"Hey Frankie. Take a brake. Come on a walk to the park with Lily and I." I say and he complies. We all walk out the door with Lily in between us like planned. She holds both of our hands. We get to the park quite quickly. I give Lily the nod and she manages to get my shoe untied. "Stop for a second. I've got to tie my shoe back up." I say. I get down on one knee to 'tie up my shoe'.

"Okay." Frank says and stands facing me. Again it's going perfectly. Just as I'm about to finish Lily speaks up.

"Hey Dad, you forgot this." She says and hands me the box. I kiss her head and I smile and Frank looks at me weird.

"Why are you calling Gee Dad? What did he forget?" He says. Lily just points to me. I'm on one knee infront of him and smiling like an idiot.

"Well, she helped me the first time and I'm getting her to help me again." I say and open up the box. He gasps. "I know it's only been a year but I absolutely love you. Lily has been helping me plan this for some time now. She helped me the first time when I asked you to be my boyfriend, she's helping me a second time when I ask you to be my husband. With that being said. Frankie, will you marry me?" I ask and see tears running down his face as he covers his mouth. He grabs me and hugs me.

"Yes, oh my god yes." He says. Lily joins the hug and I smile. Look at us. A family. Two dads and one daughter. I would say his mom too but she's in Mexico. She wanted some time with her friends.

"So Frankie, Lily's been telling me she's would like a friend at home with her. Not just one but two. So I've set up two appointments. One at a pet centre and one at an adoption centre. I know you've always wanted more kids. So fiancé and soon to be husband, what do you say?" I ask and he kisses me. I giggle and kiss him back. He's gained a lot more trust in himself. I walk off with my fiancé in my arms and my soon to be daughter on my back. What a sight.

Hope that was an okay scene. I'm almost done with this book. Probably a few more chapters left of it.
