We were friends until we were lovers

Gerard's POV:

We got back home. Mikey ran straight to his room with Pete in tow. I turn to my beautiful little Frankie and pick him up. He wraps his legs around my waist and I carry him and plant kisses on him. We get to my room and I sit down with him still wrapped around me.

"God you're beautiful Frankie. Both in mind and in body. How did I get so lucky to date you. I love you." I say and give him another kiss. He slings his arms over my shoulders and presses our foreheads together.

"You are so beautiful too Gee. In every way shape and form. I'm so happy you moved here. I got lucky too. I love you too Gee." He says and smiles his beautiful cheeky smile at me. My hands still on his hips. I hold him softly and nuzzle into his neck pressing small kisses.

"Hey. Frankie. Lets. Cuddle. As we. Wait. For my. Parents." I say between kisses and he giggles that cute little pot giggle that he has. I smile against his neck and quickly place a small kiss against his beautiful lips. I carry him back upstairs and lay us down on the couch. "What movie do you want to watch as we cuddle?" I ask.

"Nightmare on elm street?" He says but questions at the same time. I giggle and nod. I throw it on and jump behind Frankie. He lays into me and we stay there with my arm around his waist until my parents come home. Frankie falls asleep somewhere along the way and I let out a small awe because he look so adorable when he sleeps. I hear the door opening and my parents walking in.

"Hey mom and Dad." I say in a hushed tone and signal them to whisper as I point to the sleeping Frankie curled into me.

"Hey Gerard. Who's this? You know we accept you as long as we get grandkids." My mom says. My dad looks at me with a small smile on his face. Frankie shifts a little but quickly relaxes.

"Give me a second. I'm just going to wake him up. And about the grandkids, I am willing to adopt if he is. That's if we stay together long enough and get married." I say quietly. They both nod. I place a small kiss on his head. "Frankie, darling. My parents are home beautiful. Time to get up." I say and his eyes flutter open. He smiles when he sees my arm still around him.

"Yes Gee?" He asks sleepily. He reaches for my hand and I hold his. I make small circle patterns on his hand with my thumb.

"My parents are home beautiful." I say to him softly. He tenses a little bit. "It's okay. They accept us. The only thing that they ask is that we give them grandkids if we get married." I say and kiss the top of his head. He hums softly and we both sit up. We walk to the dining room where my mom and Dad are sitting. Frank and I walk in hand in hand. My parents look at us with a smile. "Mom, Dad, this is my boyfriend Frank. He has already done so much for Mikey and I. I want to do something for him but I need your consent. Is it okay if I tell them Frankie?" I ask him. He nods shyly. "Frankie is bullied. Just like Mikey and I were except it's not just kids at school beating him up, it's his dad too. Can he stay here until I can buy my own apartment? You know I have enough money it's just my age. My artwork has been selling like mad. So can he please stay here until then?" I ask. He looks down at his feet. I stand behind him and hug him from behind. My mom walks up to him and gives him a hug.

"Why of course. You poor thing. Stay here as long as you need. Thank you for helping Gerard and Mikey out. Congratulations by the way Gerard." She says and pulls me into the hug as well. She lets go and my dad walks up to him with a smile.

"I guess this means welcome to the family son. Not in marriage but in the way you have already impacted Gerard's life. You sound like a great influence kid and Gerard seems very happy around you." My Dad says to him with a big strong handshake. Frankie smiles a bit.

"Thank you so much Mr. and Mrs. Way. Gerard has helped me out a ton already. Thank you all so much for this. It is a great feeling to actually feel like you are a part of something again." He says and I hug him tightly.

"Do you want to go get some of your belongings? I'm pretty sure Gerard will go with you and I will come too if you would like." My Dad says and I nod.

"Sure, thank you. My dad should be at work but can you come please. I'm scared of him." Frankie says quietly and my dad gives a nod. We all drive to his house and sneak in. His dad isn't here so we quickly grab his belongings which aren't much. We put them in the car and drive back home. Our home.
