WHY AM I NERVOUS, I yell this loudly in my head as I get ready, why did I say that, why do i even talk?

My phone lights up from its spot on my bed side table

F~ are you okay? you ignored me all today~

Did I do that? am i going insane...yes.

Do Ilike my co worker? yes

Did I ask him out then just say as friends? YES

Do I kinda want to die? HELL YEAH MY BOY

F~ Gerard? did I do something? are we still going out tonight?~

I see this and almost make a swan dive towards the phone

G~ no, I've just had a lot on my mind, and yeah, if you still want to~

F~ I do, and can't wait...I sound like a 13-year-old tumblr user..like in real life...okaY imma stop now~

I laugh lightly, god if only he could see me, I look like a school girl from some shitty anime

before I realise it, I need to get out of my flat and down to the coffee shop we were going to meet at, and even then after arriving at the coffee shop, I was still mentally screaming at myself, so after sitting down across from frank I mad a mental note not to slap myself to shut my own mind up.

"Hello?" he said as I blur out my thoughts

"Oh! oh hi, sorry I don't know what's wrong with me..." I trail off before shaking my head to try to get back to reality

Frank laughed "did you sleep? like at all?"

"Well, yes, kinda, I feel asleep at my desk last night, like at home but, still, I slept..."

"Okay, well then what's up?" He asked

"not much, what about you?"

"same.." he nods

"is this boring to you?" I ask

"not to be rude...but yeah" he said

I smirk, why do I have ideas now, when I could have avoided this

"come on then, let's do something fun" I say and get out of the chair

"gladly." he said smiling

it was two hours later 10 pm running through central park laughing loudly, neither of us had anything to drink, just that we were having fun. I ran ahead of frank and make a quick dart towards a tree, climbing up a few branches to about the middle of the tree.

"GGGEEEEE, I DON"T WANNA CLIMB A TREE" He yells up the tree

"well you're never gonna get tall if you're afraid of heights Frankie" I joke as I climb up one more branch

"FUCK YOU" he cursed and climbed up the first few branches as I stay sat on the branch I had just climbed to, looking down at Frank.

He reached the branch I had sat on and he stood up grabbing onto the one above for control

"I'm gonna push you" I say, laughing

"FATHER NOOO, I'LL DIE" he cried, grinning like an idiot

"Don't die, you are banned from dying"

"Yee" he said simply

"did you just MEME me IRL!" I yell "did I say irl irl...metta"

He lets go of the overhead branch and sits down on my branch and looking over at me

"this was really fun Gerard, thank you" he said smiling

"Thank you, because without this I would have fallen asleep at my desk again"

He laughed and looked out into a clearing in the branches, and I soon followed just to look at the moon and give into my thoughts for the night, then I felt something soft just off the side of my cheek, and I turn to see Frank.

"did you just kiss me?" I ask, slightly perplexed

"I'll give you the answer if you can catch me" He said, climbing down a few branches and jumping out of the rest then running down the path way.

I follow after barely behind him, he swerved off the path and onto the grass only getting a small ways before tripping and falling on his heel and my unfortunate ability to not stop made me crash down ontop of Frank.

"I think I caught you, Frankie." I say, sitting up as he turns around off his back so he was facing me

"Yeah, I think so too.."

"did you?" I ask

"Maybe I did?" He said smirking

I lean down kissing his softly on his lips, I had no idea what I was doing until I felt him kiss back. I pull away sitting back up on him, smiling warmly before climbing off of him and sitting on the ground across from him.

"that was nice" Frank smiled

"I agree, we should try that again sometime," I said, nodding

"although we should probably get going now, it's late." I say, getting up onto my feet and helping frank up to his feet as well, then walking down the path to the sidewalks of new york city.
