Pretty Things...

We walked to the first class we had and Gee stared at it in shock. They were all out of their seats, some of them smoking, and all had strange features. Inhuman eyes, horns, markings, leathery wings, and other things that marked them. They clung onto my hand tightly as I walked towards the back of the room where Patrick, Andy, Kellin, Vic, Tyler, and Josh were. Kellin instantly took notice of Gee and tilted his head to the side curiously. Once I got over there their conversation stopped and they only noticed Gee who was currently hiding behind me.

“Guys this is Gee,” I grabbed Gee’s hand pulling them out in front of me and they froze up “Gee this is Patrick, Andy, Kellin, Vic, Tyler, and Josh.”

“Frank you stole an angel?”

“Kellin they’ve already said they don’t wanna go back.”

“Hi Gee.”

“H-Hi Tyler?”

“Yeah.”

I was a little surprised when Tyler held out his hand for Gee they took it willingly considering the irises of his eyes were blood red. Andy had wings that had hooks in the end much like a bat’s, Josh had a giant pentagram covering most of his chest, Kellin’s irises were blue, Vic had a small set of horns, and Patrick had a pentagram placed over his throat which is half of the reason he was so quiet. I watched silently as Andy played with Gee’s wings making them jump back and into my chest. I laughed and wrapped my arms around their waist putting my face in their neck. They hummed a bit and a loud clap made everyone go silent for a minute and look to the front. Ms. Balletto stood in front of the class and cleared her throat which made everyone find a seat. Some girl tried to sit next to me and I growled making them go sit somewhere else and Gee sat down in that spot. I pulled their desk closer to mine and Ms. Balletto just rolled her eyes at us while everyone continued to talk and be as loud as before. She honestly didn’t care what we did.

“Frankie?”

“Yeah princess?”

“It’s loud but I think I like it.”

“School?”

“Yeah.”

They smiled brightly at me and I put my hand on their thigh and rubbed up and down it which made them blush a bit but I pretended not to notice and turned to Andy.

“So rumor has it Jamia’s dressed like a slut all for you today.”

“Not happening.”

“Patrick have you seen her?”

The silent ginger shook his head no and signed ‘honestly I don’t want to either’. Andy and I laughed loudly as he made a disgusted face.

“I don’t think anyone does.”

I turned around and pulled Gee out of their desk and into my lap which made them squeak a bit and blush more.

“So Gee?”

“Y-Yes?”

“Frankie’s treating you good right?”

“Yes.”

“Just tell me if he doesn’t and I’ll kick his ass for you alright sweetheart?”

They giggled a bit and laid their head on my shoulder and closed their eyes.

“So what are you going to do about Jamia if she is dressed like they say?”

“Avoid her and-“ I covered Gee’s ear and continued “hopeful push the slut off of me. She needs to understand she was just a quick fuck.”

“Gee’s not another quick fuck is she-“

“They/them.”

“They aren’t right?”

“No. They’re too sweet to leave like that. Plus I’ve wanted them for a long time.”

“I think they’re asleep.”

I looked at them and sure enough they were asleep. Andy laughed a bit and I shook them only resulting in them mumbling and nuzzling into my neck.

“Better hope they wake up before class ends.”

“I know.”

Patrick signed something I didn’t quite catch and Andy looked at him strange.

“Sorry I didn’t catch that.”

Patrick rolled his eyes a bit and signed it again ‘how are their wings still mostly white?’

“I think they don’t actually realize what love is.”

‘Why wouldn’t they?’

“They had a really abusive mate.”

‘Poor thing.’

“Part of the reason I wanted to get them out of there so much.”

‘I’m glad you did.’

“Patrick before the humans cut off your wings did you know an angel named Pete?”

‘My battalion leader why?’

“That was their mate.”

‘Wow. Pete is seven years older than me though.’

“God actually called me and had the guts to complain that I had Gee.”

“I hate that fucker.”

‘Andy you hate everyone.’

“Not true. I think you’re rather adorable Patty-cakes.”

Patrick blushed and flipped Andy off which made him laugh loudly and wake up Gee. They blinked a few times and rolled their shoulders which made their back pop multiple times and I could feel it.

“Sorry I fell asleep on you.”

“It’s okay princess.”

“Hey Gee.”

“Yeah?”

“What would you do if me or anyone else you meet today kissed you?”

“W-What?”

“If I leaned in and kissed you what would you do before Frankie ripped out my throat?”

“Pull away.”

Gee backed away from Andy a bit and he laughed and patted their head.

“Don’t worry. I’m hopeless in love with Patrick here.”

‘Don’t listen to him he’s an ass.’

“He seems nice to me.”

‘Spend some time with him.’
