Don't say I'm better off dead
So desperate and pathetic
"Hey punk!" he shouted entering the toilets. He slammed the door shut behind him. "What are you doing in here?" Frank tried to stand up but he still felt a little faint, he fell back down to the floor.
"I said: What you doing here?!" Darren asked grinning. He took a pace towards Frank, "You scared that everybody's going to find out about your psycho parents that beat you half to death for even breathing?" Frank's breathing quickened, when would Gerard be back? He desperately needed him: NOW!
"Gerard" he called out bluntly, hoping that he wouldn't have to face Darren alone.
"Gerard come save me!" He mocked, pretending to faint and sitting down next to Frank, "come and save me. I'm just so desperate and pathetic that I need my Prince charming to come and save me from the big bad monster!" He laughed, his pale teeth showing.
Darren was a lot bigger than Frank and almost 2 years older. His dirty blonde hair was spiked up and his blue eyes stared straight through Frank. He was popular. Neither Frank nor Gerard knew why he had gained so may 'friends' so quickly. They guessed that to avoid Darren's abuse you had to join the overflowing group, that went around making other lives a misery.
"You know? When I moved schools I was sad that I wouldn't ever get to see you again, little Frankie boy" he whispered, ruffling his hands through Franks hair. He then wiped his hands on his jeans. "But what a coincidence that, even though neither of us knew about the others whereabouts, that we would end up at the SAME School! Wow. That's pretty cool, isn't it?"
Frank didn't reply. He looked like he was going to cry.
"Hey, it's okay little one" Darren cooed, " I'll help you up!"
And with that he grabbed Franks bruised arms and yanked him off the floor. Frank winced as more bruises were added to his already large collection. He tried to call out for help but he couldn't form the words in his mouth. He was slammed against the door once, twice maybe three times. But he wasn't counting. And then came the punches. Again and again into his stomach. Stopping him from breathing. But he felt like he deserved each and every punch that he got. Eventually he couldn't hold it back anymore. The punching stopped when he threw up blood and sick all over Darren shoes.
"Okay, then" He said taking a pace back, "I think that's enough for today, what do you think?" Frank quivered, Where was Gerard?
"I'll see you around kid!" and with that he slammed Frank into the brick wall one last time and walked out the door like nothing had ever happened.
Frank was covered in blood, his own...again. This was how it used to...
I don't have words. I actually felt a tear on my face
