My name is Gerard Way, I am eighteen years old, and I am the chosen one.

Watford is somehow even more foreign to me than it ever has been

I can barely work my wand and when I do i set things on fire.

The Mage is avoiding me.

The Insidious Humdrum is taring apart magical spot and cutting of all power to magicians.

It is our last year at Watford and Frank decided not to turn up. Typical.

He is my roommate. I am pretty sure he wants to kill me.

I am destined to be the greatest mage, but i can’t control my magic.

The humdrum is me. I am the humdrum.

Franks mother came to me in a dream. He wants me to help him find out who killed her.
We called a truce.

Vampires are real.

This is a ghost story, a vampire story, a magical tale of love, hate and a little bit of dragon wings.

But most of all this is the story about the rise and fall of Gerard Way the worst chosen one ever to be chosen.
