"Let's Be Roommates"

Rylen P.O.V I wake up to Gerard sleeping peacefully beside me. I always wondered what made him look so calm and collected in deep slumber. I got off the bed and made coffee. On queue Gerard wakes up to the aroma lingering throughout the room. He walks over and sit at the table beside....OMG my freaking phone. Just then it started to vibrate, which means Lucas. " do you want me to check what it is?" Gerard suggest after yawning and stretching his tensed muscles. I ran over and grab the phone and reversed back to the kitchen and sip my coffee. I look at the picture Lucas sent and spat the coffee from my mouth. My eyes widened and my jaws dropped. " what is it Ry?" Gerard's soothing voice pulls me from my shocked and confused state. " uhm.kate, she uhmm sent me a picture of her and Gavin" I cleared my throat " It's disturbing" I delete the picture of Lucas sent with Gerard and I making out at the moonlight picnic. I can't believe he stalked me...wait a pedophile like him is bound to do that. " I don't even wanna know, let's get ready for work" Gerard finishes his coffee and headed to the bathroom. --------------- We finally arrive at the music store, Gerard kissed me softly and went over to the gallery. I entered the depths of hell and Lucifer's my co-worker. " good morning, did you received my message" I flipped Lucas off and walked over to the counter. " Fuck off already, I can't take your shit anymore" I yelled and spit in his face. He wiped it off and glared at me. If looks could kill, I'd be dead by now. He walks over and cages me against the counter. He rubbed my thighs and his hand moved up to my inner thighs, I squirmed but he was too strong. He pressed his body to mine and kiss my neck roughly and nibbled it. I felt his venomous saliva and I became nauseated. My vision blurred by tears, and body shaken with fears. I used all the stamina within me and finally shove him off. I kneed him in the balls and he fell to the ground and groaned in pain. "Never do that again!" Just when I turned around Lucas stood up, pulled me over his shoulder and threw me into the CD display stand. I fell on my back and the pain shot through my entire body and the CDs all came toppling down on me. I curled up in fetal position, all I felt was pain my head started to swing and my stomach did black flips. My back...felt like the worse, I knew I would get a nasty bruise. I felt my body being lifted , roughly increasing the pain. Lucas laughed bitterly before turning my back to his stomach and gripped my neck. His other hand started to roam my body. He was about to slide his hands under my shirt but someone attacked him from behind. I fell on the tile once more. The person was Gerard. He started hitting Lucas in his face countless amount of times. At one point I heard his nose break. He fell to the floor un-concious, his eyes swollen, and his nose leaked blood. Gerard rushes over to me and lifts me in his arms bridal style. The cops came ten minutes later and arrest Lucas and then ask questions, I answered them and when they got all what they needed they left. " this is all my fault..if he had...what if I didn't got here sooner..he would" Gerard couldn't finished his sentence and now he was blaming his self. But this is all my fault..I should have told him sooner. I felt tears running from my eyes and Gerard pulled me into his chest and hugged me. I sobbed into his chest, soaking his shirt. He rubbed my back and I winced in pain. But he didn't notice. I clutched unto him tighter, never wanting to let go. -------------- Gerard brought me home after explaining the situation to his boss. I felt guilt and self hatred rush over me. I caused Gerard pain, he trust me and tells me everything. Me, I lied to him, I hurt him, now he thinks I don't trust him. " Gerard..I'm so sorry" I began, but my sobs kept me from going on. " Why are you apologising? It's not your fault..I was the reason your hurt. As for Lucas, if I see that fucking prick again..I'll kill him" Gerard pulls me into his embrace again and I felt safe and warm. " don't blame yourself, I should have told you, but I wanted you to focus on your comic" I admitted softly. " what? Rylen, my comics compared to you is nothing, you are way more important. Without you I would disappear, I'd be alone and incomplete. I love you and I always will" Gerard squeezes me tighter, although my back ache I loved how safe he made me feel. " I love you too, and if something else bothers me in future, I promise I will tell you" I closed my eyes and held him. I really found something worth living for.
