A Chemically Weird Romance

A Chemically Weird Romance ch 20

(A/N: This chapter will be in both boy's POV. For example, the whole graduation will be in Frank's POV and after everything's done I will do the whole graduation in Gerard's POV. No, it won't be EXACTLY the same. You could skip either POV's and go to the one you'd like to read about if you want; reading both isn't mandatory. Shall we begin?) —Graduation Day— -Frank's POV- "Photo's, honey!" My mom shouts through my door. "Coming!" I say as I slip the box into my black pants and rush out. I walk down the stairs with my cap and gown on. Getting ready took hours. I had to put on makeup (I know, I know) then they had to fix my hair (I don't know why, it's perfect the way it is) and finally I had to pick between six gazillion shirts and pants and every one I wanted was 'ugly' so my mom ended up picking the one she wanted. I think that was her intention the whole time. "Oh, honey, you look absolutely beautiful." "Thanks, ma." "Oh, go, before I cry." "Mooooooommmm." I whine as I see her tear up. "It's only high school." "But still. My baby is growing up." "Mooooommmm." "Just go." She waved and I walked off to the drive way and to school. In two hours I will be graduating. Then- "Frank!" I turn around, confused, as to who would be calling me when I see him. "Oh my god. Gerard." I say awestruck. He looked handsome. Extremely handsome. And his hair? Dear lord, I would bow down to that hair. "I know, like the hair?" "Like? More like fucking love. It's extremely hot." He blushes. "Thank you." "No problem, afterall, I did say that red does look good on you." He just blushes which brings me to ask my question. "Gerard?" "Yea?" "I've been meaning to ask..Erm..Are we still going to meet up at the spot after graduation?" Damn it, Frank. "Of course." He says, smiling. "Ok, well we better get going to the speech." "Right." He says as he walks to the theater we had. Ever since prom things have been awkward between Gerard and I. Was it the sex? Fuck. It was the sex wasn't it? I jump at the principle's sudden speech. "Today, the class of 2016 will start a new chapter. These student's will move from high school teenagers to growing adults. This ending bring in a new beginning-" "Frank!" "What?" "Where's Gerard going?" I look around and see Gerard exiting. "Fuck!" I murmur as I go to see what's going on. "Gerard, what's wrong?" "I don't know if I want to do this." He admits. "Gerard, you kinda-" "I don't wanna lose you." "You won't, Gerard. Plus, we still have summer." "I know-" "Do you trust me?" "Yes." "Then let's go and get all graduated." "First we will start with awards." The principle announces, smiling. "Let's begin with the writing award." "Angela Nolasco." "Becca Ramirez." "F-wh-Frank Iero." What the fuck? Even the principle was confused. I walked up to the stage and smiled at my mom and Gerard. "Bethany Grey." "Brittany Silva." "Now, the art award." I sat up knowing full well that Gerard would get one of these. "Abigail Darwin." "Gerard Way." My eyes brightened as I saw Gerard stand up and go get his award. He looked so happy and pleased. "Jonathan Garcia." So, the graduation continued that way. Till, finally, it was time to get the diplomas. "Frank Iero." I walked up, grabbing my diploma. This was it. All the sleepless nights, the stress, the tears from stress, it was finally all worth it. I smiled brightly as I shook my (well, what used to be) principle's hand, the superintendent's hand, and some other lady's hand as I grabbed my diploma and walked off that stage. Then, finally, it was my baby's time. "Gerard Way." Dear lord, when I heard that name I shouted out of glee and saw him slightly blush. I saw him happily go on stage and grab his diploma, shake hands, sat down, then waved that fucking diploma at me. "Thank you students and teachers for participating in 2016's graduation." I pull Gerard to my side and rush him to the spot. This is what I've been waiting for. "Gerard Arthur Way." "Yea?" "I love you so so god damn much. I'd kill for you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, hand in hand. That's why I want to know if you'd marry me." "Frank." He sighed Oh god, he was going to say no. "I love you, too. I'm just not sure if you really want to spend the rest of your life with me." "Oh god, of course I do, baby." "Then yes." "Really?" I ask smiling brighter than I've ever smiled before. "Of course. If this is what you want. This is what I want, afterall." "Oh thank you so much, baby, I love you." "Don't thank me." "I'll always have something to thank you for." I say, smiling. ----------------------------------------------------------- -Gerard's POV- The pictures my mom took were fast. Almost too fast. Everything was happening so fast and I hated it. One moment I was barely putting on my cap and gown then the next moment I was driving to the high school ready to get all graduated and shit. "Frank!" I shouted observing how handsome he looked in his cap and gown. "Oh my god. Gerard." He says as he walks over to me and observes me. "I know, like the hair?" I ask, knowing damn well he liked the fucking hair. "Like? More like fucking love. It's extremely hot." He says, causing me to blush a little. "Thank you." "No problem, afterall, I did say that red does look good on you." I blush, unable to speak. I knew Gerard would like this so why am I blushing so much? I guess I need something to match my hair. "Gerard?" "Yea?" I ask, looking up and out of my thoughts. "I've been meaning to ask..Erm..Are we still going to meet up at the spot after graduation?" "Of course." I say, smiling. This would be the last time we'd ever be at that spot and be able to share a memory there. "Ok, well we better get going to the speech." He says. The aura was awkward. I don't know why, but it was. "Right." I say as I walk off to the little theatre the school had. "Today, the class of 2016 will start a new chapte-" That was it. I was done. I didn't want to hear about us graduating because I was so fucking scared to lose Frank. God, so scared it was ridiculous. "Gerard, what's wrong?" I hear a voice from behind me. "I don't know if I want to do this." I admit quietly. As stupid as it sounds I don't want to graduate from this god damn building. This building gave me Gerard and I don't want to lose what it gave me. "Gerard, you kinda-" "I don't wanna lose you." I cut him off. "You won't, Gerard. Plus, we still have summer." "I know-" I begin to say, but this time it was his turn to cut me off. "Do you trust me?" "Yes." I'll always trust you. "Then let's go and get all graduated." I smiled, still unsure, but walked with him and back into the theatre. I know this was for the better, afterall. "First we will start with awards." The principle announces, smiling. "Let's begin with the writing award." "Angela Nolasco." Hate that bitch. "Becca Ramirez." Hate that bitch. "F-wh-Frank Iero." H-My baby! "Baby!" I shout, but not loud enough. "Bethany Grey." Hate that bitch. "Brittany Silva." Hate that bitch. "Now, the art award." I tensed, unsure on whether I'd get one of these or not. "Abigail Darwin." Ugh, hate her even more. "Gerard Way." I smiled, getting up from my seat and going to accept my award. "Jonathan Garcia." Stupid asshole. The graduation continued that way till it was finally time to receive those god damn diplomas. That piece of fucking paper I've been working my ass off for. "Frank Iero." The principle announced and I saw Frank walk up the stage and grab his award shaking those loser's hands. Okay, maybe I'm being a bit harsh but honestly I've always hated them and I always will. I sat back into my chair as I waited for my name to be called. "Gerard Way." Dear lord, when I heard my name I got up and put of my chair so fast you wouldn't have even seen it. After, all those other bitches' name's were said but I kinda fell asleep so I don't know if anything else happened. Whoops? "Thank you students and teachers for participating in 2016's graduation." Fuck fuck fuck. I feel Frank pull me till we reach that stupid god damn spot. Yet, it wasn't stupid because that's where everything started. That's whole reason why I'm there right fucking now. "Gerard Arthur Way." "Yea?" "I love you so so god damn much. I'd kill for you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, hand in hand. That's why I want to know if you'd marry me." Oh dear lord jesus. That ring. And this. "Frank." I sighed, unsure as to if he'd really want to spend the rest of his life with me. "I love you, too. I'm just not sure if you really want to spend the rest of your life with me." "Oh god, of course I do, baby." "Then yes." I smile as he put the ring on me. If you like it then you should've put a ring on it. But, he did. Not the time... "Really?" He asks smiling brighter than he's ever smiled before. "Of course. If this is what you want. This is what I want, afterall." "Oh thank you so much, baby, I love you." "Don't thank me." "I'll always have something to thank you for." I say, smiling. -

Notes

I don't really like this chapter and I think it's cringy but I'm still going to leave it, lol. "Don't worry about those who talk behind your back. They're behind you for a reason."
