Only One Way

It'd been a week since I saw Gerard last,I know I shouldn't be obsessing over him so much. It's not like we were even together but I couldn't help it. I was thinking about him when I walked into the coffee shop down the street a ways from my book store. It was my day off and I was waiting in line around noon, I had woken up not even half an hour earlier, and I noticed a man and a women, the girl was giggling about something and the guy looked sort of embarrased. I got my coffee and sat down at a booth next to the window when the giggly girl walked over to me. "Hi! I'm Alicia" she said extending her hand. She had this kind of browish reddish hair that was closer to blonde on the bottom and she was pretty attractive. He took her hand "So see my buddy over there?" She asked pointing to the guy she was with earlier "Yeah, what about him?" I asked " Well he told me that he thinks your really cute and he wants to know if there's any way he can get your number." "Wow, uh yeah sure. Do you have a pen?" Alicia handed him a pen she dug out from her bag and he wrote down his number neatly so it wouldn't be hard to read. "Mikey! Get over here" Alicia called and the guy did. Mikey was actually really cute, he had blonsilence " that was slicked back and he had these beautiful hazel eyes. Something looked kind of familiar about him, maybe the face shape? I couldn't figure it out, but he was definetly cute. "Hey I'm Frank" I said "I'm Mikey, I just moved in with my brother." "What's his name?" I asked "I call him Gee" Mikey said smiling, and I noticed how soft his lips looked, this guy definetly seemed like boyfriend materiel. "We gotta get going" Alicia said breaking the silence "Yeah we better get going, um coffe tomorrow?" Mikey asked, a hopfully look in his eyes. "Sure, that'd be fun." I answered smiling at him and they grabbed their stuff and left. Maybe I'll be able to stop thinking about Gerard now. I thought, then got my stuff and left the coffee shop.
