Perfectly in sync.
"Gee, I..., Is this... okay"
"It's just perfect Frankie. I'm sorry for all the shit I put you through."
Without answering Frank jumped off the play-set they were sat upon. "Jump into my arms."
"What?"
"You heard me." Gerard was unsure but he knew Frank would catch him. Maybe, possibly, hopefully, probably, probably not. So he jumped and Frank caught him and spun him around while kissing him like the cliched fuck he was.
"You little fucking cliched fucker."
"Gerard be my boyfriend."
"I'll have to think about it."
"GEeEeEeeeEEeeeeeEeeeEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeE"
"Give it time Frankie, I'll have an answer by tonight."
"Can I at least hold your hand on the way home?"
Gerard gave him a small nod. As their fingers intertwined they walked all the way home together.
"What's your family gonna think?" Frank asked nervously, you see, Gerard's family was fine with Frank before the whole incident but ever since then they didn't like Frank. For a number of reasons really.,
1. He broke their child's heart

So yeah, they had a logical reason to hate him.
"I don't know Frankie, I mean you did hurt me and all."
"I know but it's all okay now right?"
"I mean yeah I guess so, friends don't exactly hold hands and kiss."
"You're so cute.." Frank kissed the top of Gerard's head. Or at least he tried. Being short sucked.
The rest of the walk home was quiet until Gerard spoke up.
"Sure."
Frank gave him a questioning glance.
"I'll be your boyfriend."
