Introduction

Gee Way was not the typical teenage girl. And it bugged the living shit out of her. She wanted to be normal, live a normal life, but she just couldn't with that fucking dick between her legs. It didn't stop her from wearing those hot skirts that showed off her ass, of course, but she couldn't deal with staring at her disgusting, naked body in the mirror and seeing that there.

It all started when she looked in that swimsuit model magazine with her friend Ray Toro and thought, "I wish I looked like that." She wished she had curves and boobs and not a fucking dick.

Gee's dad still refuses to call her by the right pronouns or take her shopping, which was really doing a number on her self esteem. He still calls her Gerard for God's sake. Her mom, on the other hand, supports her all the way. She taught Gee what makeup she had to buy and how to put it on--even though she still spends at least an hour in the bathroom every morning trying to get it just perfect. And Mikey obviously supports her. He grew up knowing that being transgender is perfectly okay. Hell. he'd even let Gee do his makeup, and would wear dresses with her. Little brothers look up to their older siblings. Mikey's always looked up to his older sister as a role model, which has helped her through a lot, like the fights with her dad, or the bullying going on at school.

Speaking of that hellhole, Gee hated it more than that unwanted thing between her legs. It was full of a bunch of assholes who were clearly uneducated about the whole "Gee is a girl" thing. They didn't know that there was a difference between gender and sex. She constantly heard that if you had a penis, you were a boy, and if you didn't have one, then you were a girl. Which was absolutely not true. But whatever.
She tried to ignore it, but it was pretty fucking hard considering the school didn't let her use the girl's bathroom and locker room. They classified her as a boy.
Her mom tried to get them to let her, but it only made it worse. She had to go use the bathroom in the nurse's office. But at least the nurse was nice to her. She said that she respected Gee's lifestyle and that she shouldn't ever feel bad about it.
The nurse was actually one of her only friends at that school--and that also got her picked on. They called her a suck-up. Ray defended her though. He was her other only friend. Her only student friend. Ray was actually the first person she told that she was a girl. He accepted it greatly and encouraged her to tell her mom.

But she did feel really bad when she found out that Ray had lost some friends and was starting to get picked on because he was hanging out with her. Ray had to constantly reassure her that it was fine and that he'd prefer to hang out with her rather than "those douche-fucks," as he put it.

Ray had other friends, of course. Frank Iero was probably his best friend, besides Gee. So that meant he wasn't there all the time. Like that one Monday morning in the hallway.
Gee was dressed in a black skirt and a white sweater, her Vera Bradley backpack over her left shoulder. She was reading the new X-Men comic and leaning against the wall, which had no lockers because her school was poor as fuck.

"Hey, faggot." The school bully was standing right in front of her. Bob Bryar. And oh, how she hated that word. She wasn't a faggot if she liked boys. Gee didn't even look up from her comic. She just licked her thumb and forefinger and flipped the page.
"I'm talking to you, pretty boy," he growled. She flicked her eyes up and watched as two other guys took his side. They tilted their heads up in an attempt to look intimidating. And it was working.
"Why are you still wearing that fucking skirt? Don't you have to wear chick underwear? Doesn't that hurt your--"
"No, it doesn't," Gee said, rather politely, considering that she was about the throw Bob out the second story window. Bob grew in size as he stepped closer to Gee and slammed his hand on the wall right by her head.
"Why don't you start acting like a man already? Don't you think this phase has gone on long enough? It just makes you look fucking pathetic," he spat. Gee flinched at the tone of his voice.
"I'm just trying to help you stop embarrassing yourself daily," he said in a sarcastic voice.
"It's not a phase, Bob. Could you please leave?" She replied.
"What, so you're not gonna take me on? I knew you were a loser. You always will be. Faggot."

Gee rolled her eyes in the sassiest way and slammed her book shut. "Stop calling me that."
"What? A faggot? You like boys. You're a fucking faggot."
The gang of boys behind him stepped closer, smirks plastered on their faces.
"Fuck off," Gee said, putting a hand on her hip.
"Oh, I'm so scared," Bob said. "Pretty boy."
Gee scoffed and started walking away. Bryar stopped her dead in her tracks with a wallop to the face. She cried out in pain as the bruising feeling took over and she collapsed onto the floor.
Many people started gathering around as the boy started pounding on the innocent girl on the ground.

Ray ran over not a minute later. "Fucking stop it. Get off of her!"
Gee felt the weight of the boy on top of her disappear and she glanced up just in time to see the skater boy staring in fear. Her eyes flicked over to Ray who chased the boys off with a few profanities.
"Gee, are you okay?" An unfamiliar voice sounded.
"I-I'm fine.." A hand stretched out above her and she took it. Her eyes trailed up the arm of the boy. The skater boy was giving her a soft, but worried look.
"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked. Gee nodded shyly, her cheek still numb from the punch.
"I'm sorry," he mumbled. "I wished I'd have helped sooner.."
"She's okay now," Ray said for her. "Now let's get you to the nurse, okay Gee?"
"I can take her," the skater boy said, reaching over to Gee's arm and taking hold of her wrist. "You can go to class, Ray."
Ray looked over at Gee for consent and the girl gave a short nod before turning her attention back to the attractive boy. She smiled weakly and her eyes looked over his lips and his eyes.
"Okay. I guess I'll see you in maths, Gee," Ray sighed, giving Gee a friendly side-hug before walking away.

The walk to the nurse's office was short, but interesting.
"I'm Frank," the boy said confidently. Gee didn't look up from the tile floor.
"I know who you are," she replied, making Frank's cheeks turn a light shade of pink. "Ray's my only friend. I pay attention to what he says. He talks about you." She smiled.
"Good things, right?" Frank asked nervously.
"Yeah. If you consider eating the concrete after you fell off your skateboard a good thing." She let her hand slide across the railing on the stairs.
Frank laughed, but he was clearly embarrassed. "Yeah, I uh...broke my finger that day."
Gee smiled fondly and looked down to realize that Frank was still clutching onto her wrist. She didn't mind though.

"Well, here we are?" He said, gesturing to the door of the nurse's office.
"I guess so," Gee mumbled, peeking up at his from under her long eyelashes. "Thanks for walking me here. And making sure I was okay and whatever."
Frank's lips pulled up into a smile to match Gee's, and he finally let go of her wrist. "It's no problem. I'd um...really like to start talking to you more. You're even nicer than you look."
Gee wrapped her arms around him and sunk into his chest. "Bye Frank."
"Bye Gee. I'll see you at lunch."
