The pot of coffee was already finished by the time I heard a knocking on the door
"Coming" I called
I ran over to the door, but I forgot about my shoes which caused me to fall over, flat on my face
"Ouch" I mumbled
I got up only to see Gerard, Frank, and Enzie standing in the doorway, I felt my heart drop as I looked how casual they all were. Frank and Enzie still had their uniforms on, but at least they looked a little average. Gerard however was a different story, he had a black button up with a red tie that made it look a little more classy, but he wore a pair of black jeans that made me feel very over dressed.
"Are you okay?" Gerard asked
"I'm fine" I replied
"That's good, because the next time you fall from heaven. Let's hope you don't land on your face" Gerard replied sweetly
I was glad I put this makeup on so that he wouldn't see my beet red face, Enzie gave me a thumbs up before saying to Frank
"Come on, I gotta show you something"
Frank was pulled away into the basement and Gerard turned to me to say
"Sorry for saying that kind of creepy thing earlier, it just came out"
"No it's fine, just shocked me is all"
"Shocked you in a good or bad way?"
I started to say good, until Frank and Enzie came back up and Frank asked
"So what are we having?"
"Spaghetti and Meatballs"
Frank smiled and Gerard asked
"Is it ready?"
I nodded and gestured to Enzie to get some plates and forks
"Have a seat" I said calmly
They sat at our table, waiting for food. This was definetly going to be a strange evening
