Enzie was sitting silently eating her food I broke out and said
"AWKWARD SILENCE!"
she looked up slightly startled but then started laughing, it didn't last for very long she shut her mouth and continued eating
"By the way, I'm sorry for acting like a bitch earlier" I said
"It's fine, I understand you're just worried about me"
"Yeah, I just don't want you to end up like me"
"Like what?"
"Well, depressed, single, and slightly lonely"
"You're not that bad, I don't understand why guys aren't crawling all over you"
"Well then you'll be happy to hear a stranger asked for my phone number"
"OMG, was he hot?"
"He looked like a fucking angel"
"Sweet"
"I know right"
"Was he a prostitute?"
"No...."
"Do you know his name?"
"Gerard Way"
she stopped talking and looked like she had been poisoned
"What?"
"Gerard's my art teacher"
"WHAT!"
"Looks like you are going to be Mrs. Lola Way soon"
"No..... Maybe"
"Dude, totally"
again we didn't talk and just ate stuff, then Enzie outbursted
"Remember that Frank dude I told you about"
"Yeah?"
"Well, he kissed me"
"Wha!"
"On the cheek"
"Awww, you're cute"
"I'M NOT MOTHERFUCKING CUTE!"
she sneezed and it sounded like a kitten's sneeze
"You're so fucking cute"
"Shut the fuck up"
"You're even cuter when you're angry"
she flipped me off and put her dishes into the sink and ran back downstairs, I laughed at my sister as she turned up "I Hate Everything About You" on her stereo.
"Wake Me Up When September Ends!" started singing from my phone
I stepped outside and answered the call
"Hello?" I asked
"Hi, is this Lola?"
"Yeah, is this Gerard?"
"Yeah"
"What's up?"
"I was wondering if I could come over to your house"
"Sure, what time"
"Three, Tomorrow?"
"Yeah, that works"
"Okay, well see ya"
"Bye"
he hung up and I smiled like the Cheshire cat, I walked into my house again and saw Enzie with her arms folded across her chest
"Someone's got a date?"
"Maybe"
"Good for you jackass"
she sneezed again and I laughed
"Too fucking cute"
she threw her hands up and walked away again
