Gerard is a 17 year old senior in high school. He is really popular, although he doesn't have a girlfriend, but he's never thought about sexuality, so he assumes he's straight. He is punk rock, emo or whatever you wanna call it. He generally likes school because he feel like he has some control there, as at home well things are absolute shit. He has depression. His parents fighting all the time and an abusive mother, and his father is rarely home. Gerard's only escape is his music and school.

Frank is a 16 year old soon to be senior in high school. He is a socially awkward, anti social loner. He knows he's gay and doesn't care who knows. He is punk rock. He hates school with a passion as he gets bullied constantly for the way he looks and for being gay. Frank has major depression and social anxiety. He loves his home life because his parents are still together and in love and his parents accept him for who he is. Frank's only escape is music and home.

So the title is cause Gee hates home and likes school and is popular, Frank loves home hates school and loner, get it? yeah... ^-^
