Frank's POV
I shrugged off my nerves, and headed towards my class. I nodded at my teacher as a sign of saying hello, and sat at my desk, where I await for Gerard to sit next to me. He finally came and once he sees me, he gives me a smile that can make you melt right on the spot. I smiled back once I realized I had been staring at him out of admiration. We both greeted each other with simple hellos and turned our attention towards our teacher that was now speaking. "Alright, seeing that everyone is already here, I'll give you five minutes to start getting ready then we will present our poems. Does that sound good?" We all nodded and started getting ready. "So, what happened yesterday? It's okay if you don't want to talk about it," I quickly added the last part. "It's okay, but I'll tell you after school. You want to hang out at my place?" I honestly didn't know what to say nor think. I had never been invited to someone's else house just to hangout, especially a popular hot boy's house! I nodded and gave him a small sure, a smile was displayed on his angelic face. "Great! I'll meet you after school by the library." "Sounds good!" We exchanged smiles and once again turned our attention towards our teacher who was beginning to talk again. "Alright, time's up! Who will go first?" She asked. Literally no one volunteered, everyone was avoiding our teachers gaze. "Okaayyy, I guess I'll have to choose through my popsicle sticks! If I pick the name of your partner or yours, you will go." She mixed the popsicle sticks while closing her eyes. She finally picked one. "Patrick Stump. Are you and Pete ready?" They both nodded and went infront of the class. They began to read and to be honest I was quite impressed. Other students were picked, and it was just Gerard and I left. I guess we were next, and the last ones to present. "Gerard, Frank, you boys ready?" We both nodded and headed towards the front of the class. "So, this poem is really dark, and a bit long. It is called Spirits Of The Dead." Gerard said, then began to read with his beautiful voice. •Gerard•
Thy sould shall find itself alone
'Mid dark thoughts of the grey tomb-stone
Not one, of all the crowd, to pry
Into thine hour of secrecy: He read the first part so beautiful and amazing, everyone was staring at him in admiration, and with their mouth open even both my teacher and myself. He gave me a slight push and I quickly recovered from my trance. He gave me the paper that our poem was written and I began to read.

Be silent in that solitude
Which is not loneliness-for then
The spirits of the dead who stood
In life before thee are again
In death around thee-and their will
Shall overshadow thee:be still.

The night-tho' clear-shall-frown-
And the stars shall look not down,
From their high thrones in the heaven, with light like Hope to mortals given-

To thy weariness shall seem

And the mist upon the hill
Shadowy-shadowy-yet unbroken,

Notes

Any of you killjoys know who the real author is of "Spirits of the dead"? If you don't know, it is the one and only, Edgar Allan Poe! I always read his works, and they amaze me. They really are dark, but they are beautiful. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this chapter!
