Ray was already making his next move that very same day he found out about Frank’s obsession for Gerard. If anything, he needed to find at least Frank since he was a prime suspect for Gerard’s disappearance. He roughly questioned Frank’s parents. Ray’s fist slammed against the table, “Is there anywhere where Frank could be hiding away?”

Mrs. and Mr. Iero glanced at each other. Mr. Iero muttered, “There is the cabin out in the woods but no one has been there for years. Besides, the key to the cabin should still be untouched.”

“When was the last time you checked?” Ray asked.

Mr. Iero froze, “Well-I-”

“Where is the key supposed to be?”

“Hanging in the garage-”

Ray had no hesitation to quickly head out of the house. Just as he suspected, the key was gone. He looked at Frank’s parents, “Give me the exact location to where the cabin is.”

I trailed my hand up his thigh, to rest it. Gerard was still teary eye from last night. Mikey was more comfortable than ever though. Even though he had stabbed his brother in the back with the arms of betrayal, he seemed more interested in me than his own brother’s own well being. Mikey latched his hand on my arm. He smiled up at me and I forced a smile back to him. I looked over to Gerard who was staring at his brother with glassy eyes, “How could you be smiling? He wanted to rape me, you know ..”

Mikey muttered while looking down to his lap, “But he didn’t.”

Gerard’s jaw tightened, “He doesn’t love you. He’s just using you.”

Mikey’s voice was more aggressive, “You’re just mad because he actually adores me and I adore him back. Our affections are bothering you.”

Gerard shouted back, “If he had to choose between me and you, you and I both know who he’d choose! He’s just using you, you oblivious jackass.”

Mikey glared at his brother, “I can feel your jealousy from a mile away.”

Mikey’s comment threw Gerard off guard. They stared at each other for a bit until Gerard shot off from the couch and growled, “I’m not jealous. You could do whatever you want to him. I’m not falling for someone who's obsessed, abusive and controlling.” He looked at me, “You can kiss me, touch me-hell you can even be nice but I will never be yours.”

Possibly. But my charm and dominate ways had influence his brother. Was it because Mikey’s only 15? Or was it because Gerard is more stubborn? Either way, I know it’s possible to make Gerard mine-but it’s taking so damn long.

Ray drove along the road that entered the woods. He pulled out his cellphone and speed dialed his old partner, detective Wentz. Pete and Ray were great partners up until Ray had his collapse. He grew mentally ill and broke off the partnership. Pete answered, “.. Toro?”

“I’m going to a location. I’m sending you the location and if I don’t call you in an hour, send help.”

“You’re going alone?”

“You don’t understand. We’re dealing with a psychopath. It’s better if I go alone, I know him better since I’ve researched his behavior and his target. I’m hoping to influence him to go into custody.” He paused, “I just hope that he’s not alone.”
